There are many idiots on this forum, some people will just sit down in their Lagos cave and start saying what they no nothing about.
1. Osun state only released #472m out of which #222m goes to the teaching hospital in Osogbo and #250m goes to Lautech which is their subvention for August, 2019, what about September and October?
2. Some people are comparing Lautech to Uniosun Can you compare University of Ibadan to One of the Universities that Jonathan created be it in terms of Staff strength and Salary structure? Lautech was founded in 1991 while Uniosun was founded in 2003 or thereabout.
3. Even though the main campus is in Oyo state, Osun indigenes are way more than Oyo indigenes in Lautech and they hold high positions including the VC.
If Osun knows it can't keep up with the payment, let it hands off the school, you can't pay and you are still the one enjoying pass, if they request for payment, Oyo should go ahead and pay them but the payment should be from the pension of the Osun indigenes in Lautech since these are the people Osun claims to be protecting and we all want to be mad
Note: Osun is owing three months for this year and Osun and Oyo jointly owe 8months in 2017/2018

Being a wailer is a tough job

in the link you posted this was shown
.

Yet you continue to wail about Osun state that you posted has released 472M for LAUTECH.

What is the PDP govt of Oyo doing about it, At least LAUTECH is on Oyo territory and 80% of the staff and assets are in Oyo State

Osun has its own state University and are not going on strike like Lautech

What Oyo should do is to buy out the stake of Osun in Lautech and fund the school on its own
do u knw hw much oyetola was owing u are an apc apologist!!! are u a lautech student or a lautech graduate wat do u knw!... osun state has been d culprit right frm d onset... very stupid governor

Richardjcooper:
Lautech lecturers have been previously owed 8 months salary from the 2016/2017 session which led to a 10 month strike in 2017. Truth is Lautech is not self sustainable. With lots of corruption going on in the school with over 96 bank accounts which was discovered during the Ajimobi/Ogbeni era. The solution then was to increase school fees from 65k/72k to 90k/120k for returning students and 140k/170k for new students to fund payment of salaries but it seems this is not enough for a school with one of the highest number of Professors and Ph.D holders.

Possible scenarios are the money disbursed by the Osun state government last week which is for August salaries is either audio money or cabals in the school have taken a huge chunk of it. The owner governments need to do more to cut leakages in the school if there is and step up their game in resolving this crisis
some public servants in that school are embezzling the money.

If Oyo pays off and take over, then Osun students will become out of state
