I wouldn't have suspected it was murder but the last paragraph of the report gave it away easily.

All these divorce that have their families abroad. Probably, he married oyibo woman that he divorced and the woman is with the kids. He came back and set up his medical practice in Nigeria.

Strange indeed if he travels somebody should know when he is departing, why no relatives staff and patient ask of him, the worst is somebody saying evacuation to prevent spread of disease which disease? the body have been there for 2 (two ) month's no disease spread then the neighbour's did not perceive the stench odour until the caretaker came around to force the place open

Well since he used to shut down the hospital when travelling to Brazil, he might only have had part time or ad hoc staff from time to time. They might assume he will be in contact whenever he returns from travel. He might have studied abroad where being on your own is no big deal.

But no wife, kids, inlaws, nephews, nieces, fellow doctors?
This shows why certain close people need to know your whereabouts.

But as families get smaller, become more nuclear and people only care about where money comes from, this incident will become more common. Like it already is in the West.
