YES if someone gives you something for free you have to respect the fact that they made an effort AND took the time to cook for you etc
but, expecting that person to pretend that the food was great, even afterwards (when you fully well know it wasnt) thats crazy. that woman is letting this man know what she believes, and possibly stop him from inviting her to these family gatherings.

- the fact that you would want her to keep lying to her man that the food was great (in order not to hurt his feelings), is where i believe you are failing in this issue.
- the fact that you believe that she lacks home training because she gives her man HER opinion about his family, is where i believe you are failing in this issue.

Lol the guy got so pissed cause he knew she wasn’t lying ,,, but then again,, as a lady I don’t complain about salty foods ,,, i was brought up in a home with low salt intake,, if I eat in people’s houses I think there is always too much salt !! But I hv learnt to cope !!! But if the salt is actually tooo much I can’t eat it , I won’t pretend.

trigger to what ?? Sometimes I complain about my mums cooking but I still eat it,, because the food is salty one time doesn’t mean he’s Mum is a bad cook !! He’s insecurities made bigger mockery of everything, I am a lady I cook also n my man complains sometimes,, but he will still finish it n ask for more but it helps me do better !! U are only triggered if u think u are actually a bad cook,,, the way I look at that chat it was completely innocent,, all those talks were nonsense n showed he had no value from her !!She said no vex , but he kept on ranting !! maybe she was too forward but she isn’t wrong for talking about it ,, how about he hears it accidentally from her friends? If she’s not talking to you she’s talking to someone else ,,, isn’t it better she was talking to him ?
