Dear Nairalanders,

Can anyone from personal experience say which insecticide spray is actually effective against mosquitoes or if they are all a waste of money.
I have tried everyone I have seen and I think only the yellow sniper seemed even a bit effective but not completely.

so far mosquito net seems the best anti mosquito remedy but you can't put mosquito net in your parlour.

so please who can recommend something.

I don't think i have used Mosquito insecticide before. I once applied a method my mother taught me. when i feel the mosquitoes won't allow me rest, I swing my long broom at their direction and also every corner of the room aggressively. *Smiles*

mosquitoes are becoming immune to our wisdom if you no even put the net under the bed well them go squeeze through tiny openings and find their target. allow them to feed joor it is eat and be eaten abi you no dey eat other animal too?

Block your kitchen sink, wash hand basin and bath tub when you are not using them.
Ensure your doors and windows are well fitted.
It will reduce mosquito infestation.
These sprays are quite effective, but the mosquitoes have leant how to evade them.

wow very insightful. had no idea they could come in from there

Most of this anti mosquito repellent contains harmful chemicals they are not good for your health and wellness, try this organic mosquito killers.
Get some ginger and garlic blend them together with little black pepper and soaked it in ogogoro alcohol for at least two days.it will kill any flying or crawling ants without harming you and filled your room with nice fragrance.

You don't need insecticides if your window and door nets are PROPERLY FITTED, NO GAPS. Make out time to fix this and thank me later.
