I have a little cousin in Lead City University, Ibadan and when I saw the breakdown of the fees for their new session, I began to wonder about certain things o.

Why are they introducing two new fees during a pandemic that has caused economic upheaval across the world?

They are asking them to pay N20, 000 for developmental levy. Why should the students pay for the school's development then pay school fee? Are they shareholders in the school? Will they be getting returns from it or it's the school administration that will be reaping the benefit of the develoment for years to come? Or is Stakeholder (which they are) the same as shareholder?

Also, why is there a separate Vaccination fee aside the medical fee? Do they intend to make the students pay for a non-existent COVID-19 disease vaccine? Na wa oooo


My Nairaland people, Please help us tell Lead City University that many parents have lost their livelihoods due to this pandemic oooo and they should not please make life unbearable to us o.

Go to public uni na if y'all can't handle the fees
The people in PAU, ABUAD, Baze etc that pay millions, do they come here to lament because of 20k increase in fees?
