check this,NOTE;these solutions are for aspect of electricity only as i cant view the last part clearly on my phone,u can snap it clearly again and then upload it.

xplain in details why the other lamp will stay off...........

Your answer to 3(d) is wrong. If you unscrew one of the bulbs, the remaining one(s) will still be ON because it is still connected to the voltage source and that is one of the advantages of parallel connection. We call it redundancy in Engineering.

thank u bro check my ans very well i said the other bulb will glow out,i think u and detj4 didnt understand the option i choosed,....infact parrallel combination system is used in designing airplane engines such that if one fails the other one would work,,,,,cheers!

You wrote "go out" which means OFF in the context of that question. look at what you have written again.

this is part A, B has been done already

Re: Can You Solve These Physics Questions? by PresidentBuhari: 11:45am On Jan 08, 2021
Thank again, Could you kindly explain the part B - Forces and gravity for number 1 ; I see you used a few values like Calibration scale 0.2 x y; how did you arrive at them?
The Calibration for A seems to be at a value of 3; could you clarify?

Question No 1 Excersise K1. You don't have to convert to Newton again like NDSMELODY erroneously did it. Most spring balance are calibrated directly in Newtons or they may have dual scales of Newton and gram. The question here is straight forward, it says Newton.

His conversion is even wrong because he converted it from kg to Newton. (1Kg = 9.8N or approximately 10N) and spring balance are not calibrated in Kg because most of them are small and can only suspend small loads so they are calibrated in dual scales of Newton and grams.

Alright, could you kindly show the workings that you believe is more suitable for the question?
Thanks

(A).LAMPS IN DIFFERENT LOOPS(WITH SAME VOLTAGE SOURCE),-PARALLEL CIRCUIT.
(B).LAMP, SIDE BY SIDE,-SERIES CIRCUIT.
(C). TWO LAMPS CONNECTED IN SERIES WON'T SHINE BRIGHTER THAN JUST ONE, BECAUSE, EACH WILL EXPERIENCE VOLTAGE DROP.
(D). WHEN TWO LAMPS ARE CONNECTED IN PARALLEL, THEY SHINE AS BRIGHT AS JUST ONE LAMP IN THE CIRCUIT.
