I'm not a fan of protests in Africa and will never be. All these protesters usually claim to be peaceful at first but they always degenerate slowly into violent protests. From peaceful protests to looting of shops, obscuring human/vehicular movement and damaging properties belonging to private individuals like themselves. Show me the sense in that?  If you must damage things,why not go and damage properties belonging to elected leaders that they deem to have failed them? Why destroy things the average citizen struggled to put in place? Soldiers should be deployed to shoot them on sight. I have zero sympathies for such deaths. 2 Likes |

Kandeed:What would Buhari have done differently that their current president have not done? It is a very delicate matter to arrest a former president(whether guilty of charges or innocent) from a popular/dominant tribe in a country in most African countries and not expect back clash in form of protest or violence from his kinsmen/tribesmen. What would have eased the tension was if the case was handled in a way that arrest was avoided and justice still served or if it will cost many lives look for proper timing and occasion and delay the justice. |
