ForevaTT: Hi,
Since the 1st of April 2021, I've been a silent reader on Nairaland. I learned about web-forms, e-mailing MPs (which I did), and even the official email address to contact for updates using this platform.
My application was approved this morning after nearly 5 months of checking my e-mail every day and sending multiple web-forms. God takes all the glory on this one.
I have a Bsc. in Computer Technology from BU but applied for an Advanced Diploma Business Admin course at Seneca College and my application was approved. It happens to be a three year course btw! This means it's very possible to apply for a diploma even with a Bsc. My mother is my sponsor and note this, i supplied a fixed deposit investment from a reputable Microfinance bank (alongside an access bank statement of account). 95% of the monies were with the MFB. I also supplied my company bank statement with SCB.
I also supplied the following : 1. Lease agreement i had secured with a student residence on campus. 2. SOP written by me (edited by God ) , explaining my career path and study purpose. As a footwear designer, i included a catalogue of my designs, CAC documents and also attached my CV. 3. Sponsorship letter from my mum narrating my business achievements and why she chose to support me further.
Overall, I believe God's favor was at work here because I've seen many more qualified people be turned down! What God cannot do does not exist!
Keep praising God in anticipation, you are next !
Congratulations and also being the 1st to testify on this thread. Go and prosper in Canny land 1 Like |

Clairene51: Long post
My first time posting but I hope my testimony encourages someone here Program: MBA ( Fall intake, 2021) School: UCW. Vancouver, BC. PPR: 24th August 2021
After my BSc in Govt and Public admin, I thought I should just move to Tech since It was clear I didn't want to be in academia or politics. I applied to Dalhousie University for a BSc, got admission in less than a month. Feeling eager to take over Canada, I read through the Lagos office requirement and applied on 18th July 2018, submitted an empty application (na Neco, Waec, First school leaving cert, etc full there) The second correspondence for that application came in on 7th September 2018 and wow, I remember I was in school then, rounding up my defense and preparing for my clearance when the mail dropped. The refusal reasons were on Travel history, Purpose of visit, Home ties, and Personal assets.
After the first refusal, I got Frankrobbn email from NL and sent my GCMS to him (I think he wasn't charging then) after he reviewed it, he told me it was workable, then asked me to go for a course related to my BSc and sent some scholarship links to me( I told him not to bother because I'm not reapplying) he said okay o, just like that♀️.
2019-2020, I got the courage to reapply. All the schools I applied to (Msc) boldly refused me, got frustrated, and decided to leave everything and go do my Nysc... 2021, a family friend guided me. She gave me all tips she used in her successful application but then “No application is the same”. I applied on 18th March 2021, and that faithful morning of June 3rd, 2021, the second correspondence dropped with the same reasons as the first refusal.
I gave up trying and canceled everything about Canada the day I saw the refusal. I called some agencies that were in charge of UK applications so we can kick off asap... Only for me to wake up the next day and started thinking of Canada reapplication... My mind went straight to Frankrobbn1, he gave me the cold acceptance (aspa coconut head applicant) but this time I no send, I begged o, He sha listened and pointed out my mistakes in my Sop, and documents in general so the next thing was for me to go convince my parents that I wanted to reapply for the third time. They accepted after many explanations with conditions of having a plan B( I got admissions from 3 different UK schools, and booked a late date in Aug for my medicals).
I paid for Frank's services and we started from changing of school to UCW. When it was time to reapply, Frank reviewed all my documents, flagged down some with reasons, and we finally submitted them on 28th June 2021, upfront medicals passed 7th July, same with eligibility, no update till 24th August, PPR dropped
Here's my timeline to the last application (in no particular order)
DOCUMENTS 1. Letter of Introduction from your employer. 2. Copy of Applicant’s Family Members Birth certificates. 3. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission. 4. Copy of Applicant's Birth Certificate, 5. Copy of Police Character Certificate, old one) 6. Waec 7. Copy of Applicant’s International Passport Biodata page, 8. Copy of Applicant's family picture. 9. Letter of explanation addressing the concerns of the visa officer concerning the last refusal grounds (prepared by Frankrobn1) 10. NYSC discharge certificate 11. Degree certificate 12. Transcripts 13. Deed of gift documents. 14. IELTS Certificate. 15. Study leave approval letter 16. Work ID 17. Resume 18. MBS 19. Board resolution letter for my sponsorship 20. Dads company Cac document 21. Article of Memorandum 22. Particulars of directors 23. Sponsors landed properties 24. Company performa and sales invoice 25. Sponsors two company account MBS with sole signatory letters 26. Tax clearance
I had challenges which were; First, my 4 years in the university, we were called political scientists and I submitted my first application with the name but after my clearance, I was handed a Government and Pub admin cert... Secondly, my funds were enough but the company account(which seems like a 3rd party sponsorship) IRCC said I was mobile and single blah blah.
I must affirm that Frankrobbn1 of (fandrglobal.com) is professional beyond measure, he takes the hardest immigration cases and handles them with highest attention to detail, and to customer service. I disturbed him o (na 24/7 busy man) so you have to always remind him...
God pass IRCC It will surely go round

My daughter is in a similar situation. Same university. She did not apply for deferral yet, but just sent a mail to the Director of studies informing about the delay in study visa approval ànd that she may consider deferral should the delay continue. He informed her about the virtual option and suggested she can go with it unless she prefers in person then deferral can be considered. She has opted for the virtual and induction commenced today. We are believing she will get PPR soon.
I suggest your sister joins the virtual option will waiting for PPR. The new immigration policy recognises online studies up to this fall for PGWP provided you obtained study visa or have applied before commencing virtual studies. She will loose a good percentage of money paid should she withdraw.
She can as well look for admission for winter and notify IRCC.
It will surely end in praise. Thanks for the encouragement! Can I PM you? Maybe they can connect when they eventually arrive there |

Hello sir I need you help or refer me pls I need to speak with someone Hello ma'am So sorry about the outcome of your application You would need to order for your GCMS Notes (which would take like 28-35 days to get) so as to see the VO's comment/assessment about your application. Your GCMS note will show detailed reasons why you were refused cos the refusal reasons on the refusal letter sent to you is a GENERIC one. In a nutshell, so as not to re-apply blindly, get your GCMS NoteIt's the content in that VO's Comment on your GCMS Notes you gonna address/tackle, then you can comeback here to the forum & show the refusal reasons (Screenshot of the bolded VO's Comment), so gurus & members in house will be able to give result-oriented advice/suggestions See the steps in ordering your GCMS notes in the link belowhttps://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/521#104384796If you still have challenges ordering for your GCMS NOTES, ask here on the forum, members who were able to order for their GCMS NOTES successfully would be able guide you further. While you await your GCMS NOTES, why not post your APPLICATION INFO/MANUSCRPT so it can be given some bird eye view and analysis by members of this platform pending the time your GCMS NOTES would arrive. That is, - Names of documents you submitted for your CLIENT INFORMATION and PROOF OF FUNDS - Ties to home country i.e Things that can compel you to come back to Nigeria after your studies e.g If you are married with kids, have landed properties in your name or parents name, your parents and siblings in Nigeria, your Job, a Position you hold in an organization in Nigeria e.g Church, Club etc.) - WHAT YOU STUDIED IN THE UNIVERSITY (BSC) OR POLYTECHNIC (HND) - 2.1 or 2.2 or 3rd Class / Upper or Lower Credit - Year you graduated from the university or poly - How many years of work experience - Is your job related to what you studied in school - Name of the program you applied for in Canada and its qualification (a Diploma, Advance Diploma, B.SC, PG.Cert, PGD, Masters, PHD) - Name of the school you applied to in Canada - Is the program you applied for in Canada related to your degree or work experience - Did you submit an SOP (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE)? - Any additional info or document you submitted Your response to the above questions would bring some potential eye openers to were things went wrong in your study visa application and how should prepare yourself to tackle it while you await your GCMS NOTES 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nope.. GCMS notes is simply to show the progress of your application and also to see the Visa Officer's comment/assessment about your application. Your GCMS note will show detailed reasons why you were refused as against the generic/regular refusal reasons on the refusal letter sent to you. In order for you not to re-apply blindly when you get refused, it is advised you get the GCMS note.. You will need to send them mails, webforms and also send a mail to a favourable MP of the province your school is located, these action will push them to attend to your file. For those trying to book flights, you can use google flights to get good rates. You can view flight prices across different airlines and dates. Also, you can compare prices and see which date works best for you price-wise.
My advise is to book directly with the airline, when you eventually find a suitable flight. It is usually easier to deal directly with the carriers, than third party vendors. (Just my opinion) 12 Likes 3 Shares |

I love your spirit jare, kudos. Sorry about the outcome though.
From my own view, the purpose of visit refusal might be tied to a logical progression in career or academic.
Personal asset and financial status shouldn't have been an issue going by your profile, but was there any unexplained lump sum deposited in your account, especially close to the time of application?, they sometimes frown at such depending on the VO.
If you want to employ the service of the knowledgeables, you can contact oga frankrobbn1 , he's one of the trusted we've got here.
