ICAN has lost value.. it is not like before.. now a chartered accountants are earning below 70k..

People who don't know will think you are being pessimistic or hateful... As far back as 2007-09, ICAN chartered accountants were coming to do ACCA so as to boost their chances of getting jobs. There were already too many ICAN chartered accountants in the market at that time. I wonder what it is like now. In a labor market where you have so many people with that certificate and a larger percentage of them can't get jobs, the pay would likely not be very good. Yes there are those earning pretty well but then when you look at the statistics, it's not very encouraging. This young chap has an advantage cos of his age, though. To boost your chances as an accountant, you might need to have in addition to your ICAN, ACCA and CFA.

Why is there so much negativity and anger on this platform. Some people don't see human being they see tribe and take things out of context. This young man has worked so hard to attain what he did, encouragement will be the best thing anyone can give him. With encouragement he can keep pushing to get heights he never imagined and make everyone proud. it's really sad to see negative comments on post like this. In this day and age where mental health is taken seriously, we should mind what we say because this young man could be reading the comments. i understand freedom of speech. oju inu eti inu
