Sadly, one of the infinite methods deviced by a smart thief at Bourdillon to milk Lagosians dry. I am deeply astounded by the grand inprudence being exerted by Lagosians and the entire South West to see to fruition, the presidential ambition of this boundless kleptomaniac.

The lesson I learned here is that: do not ever think or plan in naira. I pity mu.mu who always say that standard of living here is cheaper and bla bla bla. You should realize that it is far more expensive to live here than abroad. We are beginning to see reality since govt is removing incentives and subsidies gradually. Lol.

One issue again is that Nigerians have seen used cars as their destiny. The same people will complain about mechanics. Lol. You buy a car today and the whole of your day you spend with a mechanic. To even think of a new car is like wishing them death. New cars are meant for who? See eh! Poverty is a bastard.

This scheme has shown you all that our economy is bleeding. Now that we are trying to digitalize everything, we have no choice but to upgrade. Now, we can see. Lol...

I am not justifying Lagos, but if you sit down with them, you will shut up when they analyze theirs. But I know they must chop too. That's normal. Lol.

Which car will N1.8million buy now? Cos the guy is talking neatly. Lol. Who wants to loan you money for long? The idea is to recover it fast. Go and check out how people default in paying loans back. All the CBN loans, lol. But see Lagos knows how to handle people very well. See I don't blame Lagos at all. If you aren't brutal, don't deal with Nigerians. Nigerians are merciless. So, it's why I don't even blame the loan apps for sending threatening messages to loan defaulters' contacts. Nigerians are brutal and you give it to them mercilessly.

So, I have absolutely nothing to say here. Since most don't want to do business but are waiting for the government to do everything, good luck to them. Before you say anything...they will all come out to ask govt for everything. Meanwhile, govt needs to get out of doing business. Yet, people want govt to do it.

On top, people are still giving birth like pigs. Each woman to 6 - 7 kids. Very senseless group of people. Imagine having 30 million in Lagos. Lol.

Canada is 8524.6 times bigger than Lagos, yet, Canada is 38million and Lagos is over 30million too. grin

See eh! Nigerians are the most useless individuals I have ever come across. Government is not our problem. The people are their problems. Look at the figures na. Canada is 8525 times bigger than Lagos, and Lagos is competing with it in terms of population. How will you have prosperity when it's sex and food in your heads. Mofos!

Nigeria cannot get better. No matter who you have as the president, it will never get better. Not until we correct our foundational challenges. Why won't Lagos be dirty?

Meanwhile, Lagos is where everyone is running to. And they build shanties everywhere. Lol. Madness everywhere.

Our GDP is not bad. It is doing well, but there are too many people feeding on it. We are too many. Yet, we are giving birth like idiootaaasss. Mofos! Cursed are Nigerians. Mad set of people.

We must speak to ourselves before it is too late. Buhari is not our problem. Tinubu is not our problem. We have gone through IBB, Abacha, and Abduldalami .....and we survived them. We survived those mad dogs in barracks. Are they our problems? Nope. They only took advantage of our weaknesses. Yet, we haven't realized this.

We need to start castrating men after having a child. And we need to stop giving out passports and free facilities to any child born after the first. We must stop this. 1 child per family for every 10 years. So we can regulate it to 2 or max of 3 which are well spread.

Japa if you can. The figures are not adding up you will make it in Nigeria.

Good Intention. Poor understanding.
It's hard to see the ground when you're on a high horse.
It's easy to forget how hotly the ground burns the feet of the one who walks and how that drives them to hop from foot to foot in what you see as the dance of a mad man.

You have taken complicated issues and reduced them to a b&w victim-blaming narrative.

Seems your heart is in the right place though

Hire purchase is not for faint hearted person.. you gast ready to hustle with blood

1.8m is 20% of 9 million as down payment and you pay 8k per day... Same amount Danfo drivers pay owners daily without owning the car

Even Keke Marwa hire purchase Na 3k daily...

A single drop as airport shuttle starts from 20k if you join that with uber, bolt and the lagride app.. you would chop correct money

You are completely wrong.

Do Danfo drivers pay 8k daily non stop for up to 4 years?

The duration is shorter obviously.

A drop from Airport is below 20k on bolt or Uber.

Get your facts right. Airport to Epe is less than 13k on bolt or Uber.

Airport to Badagry is less than 13k too.

A lagride driver can not combine with bolt or Uber

What is true is that its not forced on anyone...

The terms are clearly outlined...
If you are okay with it ...take it

If you are not leave it...

It's a new car for 9M ......

You did not tell us who will be paying for the cost of maintaining the car..

Expected to work for 10-15 years even with our bad maintenance culture...

They want everything free .. Government should just give it to rhem free of charge

Do they have the spread to feed the drivers with clients that would pay up the daily charges if they want to start at such high standard?

If Uber and bolt decide to do a one week discount to shake them, can the drivers withstand the shock?

The company needs to re-strategise..
Exactly. Remember Lagos trains are coming too.
Re: Lagos Ride Is An Advanced Slavery Scheme - Otaigbe Imadegbelo by Pipapi1: 7:17am On Feb 23, 2022
Government will introduce a scheme meant to help some people, all we do is to critique it from negative point of view. Unfortunately, some Nigerians that are lazy at reading would not verify the information independently.

The summary did not say the following:
1. Money used to procure the vehicles attracts interest from the financing company. Do you expect government to bear the cost of fund on behalf of the beneficiaries? If government decides to bear to cost of fund, it is this same people that will come to social media that the scheme was for the benefit of people in government's family and friends.

2. That beneficiaries have the latitude to pay off or exit the scheme after 2 years. Therefore, the impression that beneficiaries are compulsorily tied to the scheme for 4 years is not true!

3. That the conditions are made available to beneficiaries before signing the agreement. It it doesn't look okay for you, don't go for it.

It's hard to see the ground when you're on a high horse.
You are even bold to use that on someone you do not know. You are sick. You no well

I don't know where you get this from. Very funny. No... it's the ground you should focus on when riding. See eh... na that ground you go land. Does it make sense?

The exact poverty mentality. Lol. To me, a horse is a means of transportation, but to you, it is a means of showing wealth. Just like how it is today. Bro...when driving, open your door or window or whatever and don't focus. That ground you want people to focus on cos you want to make a point is what will kill you.

The way I see it. We think differently. And this is my exact point. Poor people will always think like you. But then, are most successful people born rich? Nope. But if they have your attitude, they will never aim at riding their own horses cos they will be like you. I pray for your deliverance.

It's easy to forget how hotly the ground burns the feet of the one who walks and how that drives them to hop from foot to foot in what you see as the dance of a mad man.
We pray God blesses you a bit so you can work and stop having too much sex. This is the main point. It is not about the garbage you have typed. Very hopeless people will always use everything to defend themselves. This one is even using proverbs. Mehn! Your feet will be burnt here on earth and then burnt after death. Lol. Keep on having this useless thought. And na this kin person me a dey the same country oooo. Chai! See eh! Man needs to separate himself from these junks. How can one prosper with this kind of person? Imagine. He didn't say anything about the sex sex sex and food food food Nigerians are cursed with. His own is that the poor must survive.

I don't blame the rich who always separate themselves from rags. Later una go dey complain. Very hopeless way of thought.

You have taken complicated issues and reduced them to a b&w victim-blaming narrative.

Seems your heart is in the right place
I wish you luck. Don't ever mention me with your poor mentality. When I read comments like this, I know Nigeria cannot prosper. It is not a curse.

Readers, japa oooo. Leave his place for people like this. There is no hope with this kind of lifestyle and response. This person will think I am insulting him, hmmm. He won't understand. Someone who is already saying I am on a horse and looking down on people. Did you read it? This is the mentality when govt was destroying the shanties. They are just made to destroy good things. Better to part ways with this person and everyone in his category.

I pray for your deliverance.

zombies will still praise the e taxi

Nigerians are money grabbing too.If the govt makes it their responsibility to pay up the cost of purchase,Nigerian drivers will turn the new car to a write off within one year. They will so mismanage the car and return to govt in a terrible state.

I remembered what drivers did to me when i gave put my bus on hire purchase, they will pay deposit and give you story for daily delivery. The damage the buss everytime so they can make money off you for. Repairs. In less than one year the bus is a write off and you cannot even get back the cost price of the vehicle. One driver even stole my bus and lied that Lastma impounded the bus only to find the bus in Ijebu ode about to be sold.

It is better they assign the vehicles to LASG workers. Make a good scheme how the workers are to repay over 6 years. That's more promising venture than for a state govt to attempt to compete with people paying them tax monthly.

Why do you think anyone who can comfortably raise 1.8M will want to involve their self in this kind of scheme? And no one want it for free, but for the government to reduce all the charges

Uber/bolt collects 25% , govt also want 25% and 8k daily.

Well only and uninformed illiterate will take up such an offer

Re: Lagos Ride Is An Advanced Slavery Scheme - Otaigbe Imadegbelo by Nobody: 8:49am On Feb 23, 2022
A ponzi scheme indeed, 1.8m can get you an irresponsible uber ride, GAC are chinko products, won't last for 4 years as taxi.
Why LGSG wants to monopolize transport business is worrying, they made things worse.
How dyu call this employment generation, which youth will afford 17k or 1.8m upfront payment?
Only cronies and their benefactors will support this scheme, its not sustainable.

Like other useless transport schemes it will crash.

True but will it last? GAC products like other chinko products don't last past 4 years.
Taxi business thrives on cost reduction, asking a 3rd party govt crony to service the vehicles already inflates the cost, 8 k daily remittance in the light of high fuel cost, reduced incomes for commuters makes the scheme unrealistic and unsustainable.
