how about OKOYA thomas?

9gerian:
Not at all. It is a cultural thing.

They (Yorubas) don’t shout because it is considered a cultural wisdom to keep a low profile if you are rich in order to avoid unnecessary envy and antagonism that is known to accompany the boastful and proud.

A rich and boastful man is easily disrespected and easily antagonized in the Yoruba society and vice versa. This has helped to keep the society balanced.

Okoya keeps a low profile as he is not everywhere trying to be relevant. His children don’t make noise openly or flaunt the wealth.

The only time you hear about him is when he has some landmark event/parties like birthdays and the likes, and that’s because the tabloids swoop in for rich and classy content.

He is definitely low key like others in his category such Molade Okoya Thomas, Fernandez, Mobolaji Bank Anthony, Harry Akande, Subomi Balogun, and even Mike Adenuga or Femi Otedola.

The money speaks if you come across them but they don’t act like gods.

[s]Nigerialabalaba:

dat na why I dey laugh wen some native and jjc ibo people say dem own Lasgidi grin Dem no even own 1% of Lasgidi!

If u go Ikeja probate office, d saro and aguda indigenous Lagos families alone get nothing less dan 1000 families like dis dem Bank-Anthony o wey dem assets dey rock solid till date.
Dem go do court case for more than 50 years just to make sure say nobody go transfer d assets! Very rich highly educated sophisticated Saro and Aguda families folks. D top professionals wey many of una no even sabi are from dis families o and dey have wealth wey don pass 100 years passed down from generations to generations.

No shishi of dis elitist saro and aguda families dem dey transfer to non-Yorubas let alone Ibo. shiorr [/s]

How many dem done transfer to your family
