They claim religion is the problem of mankind, causing underdevelopment and intolerable bloodshed. Yet they are the most intolerable. What is your own contribution to the society you're in outside ranting online for cheap likes?

All these developed countries you see used to be and many are still very religious. African underdevelopment goes far beyond religion, but the lack of vision and a strong focused ambition for collective good.

Effect positive change in your society first, real improvements not "woke" immorality, then you can talk. But before then shut up and stop sounding like broken records, people are free to believe what they want.

Last I could remember, I've never read of an atheist murdering anyone due to any belief or to protect the ego of a useless God.
We only point out the stupidity in the Bible ragbook and how murderous the Bible portrayed God,and yes atheist are not threatening anyone with burning fire if you don't accept a useless God,lol.

What about the ones who go about disturbing people in public places because they want them to join them in heaven where they constantly worship some being for eternity?

Ask Japan, Singapore, Bahrain, UAE, Egypt, China, America, Canada, The Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Germany, France, Australia and many more developed countries how many hours they prayed and miraculously developed through their prayer and fasting. They seek no help from a supreme god out there. They do stuffs and each god they believe in helps them out. Unlike Africa, were we fast, pray, earn little and tithe it out, meanwhile fast and pray to earn again.

God helps those who helps themselves. Any religion that rejects opinions and differing thoughts but embraces emotional and mental enslavement is not worth my association. A religion of threat and hate is a pissful religion but it seems there are very few unlikely ones out.

Note: am a Christian, but i have my cognitive reasoning at hand and can't accept enforced thoughts and behavioural patterns out of fear.

Someone's choice to criticize a religion, especially one that shapes the decisions of society, is not anti-God... It's simply caring about the ideologies that shape the world you live in

I do not claim to speak for every atheist.. unlike Christianity, Islam or Buddhism.. atheism is not a religion. 2 atheists can disagree completely on the same thing.

That being said, I don't think “close-minded" is a word that could be used to describe most atheists. Being closed minded is an individual thing. And it exists even among theists.

This is a debatable subject. having vision, and a strong ambition for collective good isn't a Christian or atheist thing. It's a human thing.

Sure, people can believe what they want... But unlike the story you're trying to paint, theists are often the ones that make their belief such a big issue

When you live in a society where some people want to blow themselves up, and kill others, because “their God commanded them to" or where people believe that others who aren't part of their religion or denomination are hell-bound sinners, and treat them with disdain, then we have a problem.

When your belief requires you to stop thinking, and rather than finding solutions to problems, it encourages you to sit on your ass and wait for an imaginary God, then we have a problem.

When your belief discourages people in abusive marriages from getting divorced, because of reasons like “what God has joined together, let no man put asunder" then we have a problem

Of course not all believers follow these lines of thoughts. But the ones that do, do so based on certain beliefs.. and those beliefs in their entirety, deserve to be scrutinized.

We are living in times that glorify uniformison. Everybody want to identify with the trend of the day so as to be accepted and be seen as a "modern" person.

People identify with "atheism" not really cos they know and believe fully what they identify with but cos they want to fit in. Atheist ideology gives them that feeling of "woke" and intelligence even "enlightened" persona, irrespective of their zero contributions to the society.

They have been deceived to believe that the greatest philosophers and scientists are atheists, the same way they're now deceived that they are also homosexuals. An agenda.
