So terrible

I see some novice saying PayPal, payoneer. Infact,if you like use wise, Western Union wey Dem don block sending to Africa, especially Nigeria.

To send ordinary 3400 AUD last week using any method were all blocked by the financial system in Australia.

We had to use agent in Australia and send down to Nig at a ridiculous rate of 250/AUD dollar.

This is crazy. We lost over 1.4 m in the transaction.
Hi, do you mean Payoneer doesn't work?

Can you open a dorm account with zero balance?
Yes! But your opening deposit helps to fast-track the account readiness and shield it from immediate dormarcy.
Why would you approach a bank for an account you don't have the intention for immediate funding?
Re: Web Developers / Freelaancers: How Are You Getting Paid From Outside Nigeria? by Oburu202: 4:58pm On Dec 06, 2022
Just make friends in US. They will withdraw the money for you. They will pay you with the black market rate.

It's too easy. Payooner, PayPal. Etc

Have you never heard of Payoneer.com?!

They will give you USD bank account + EURO bank account (if you ask for euro)

You will receive direct deposit in USD.
You will receive direct SEPA transfer in EURO if you ask.

You will be given free virtual debit cards upon request.
Then you can use your card to buy crypto and exchange for Naira on binance.com or localbitcoinexchange.com

You will sell crypto at black market rate not bank rate.

It's legitimate, you can register on Payoneer.com with your voter's card, international passport or driver's license.
After recieving the funds, must i buy crypto, why can't i just send it to my bank, and also can't I register with my national ID card

All of these difficulties people face makes me even more appreciative of my current employer. They wire funds directly to my ZBN dom account every month without fail.

Everything has been said. You just have to keep moving and have multiple payment options.

Currently I have three dorm accounts, GeegPay and Payoneer. I get some funds directly to my dorm, I get some through GeegPay. I haven’t used Payoneer in a while.

It is not even the government, it is our reputation as a people. If you want to send money to Nigeria, the system over there would block it. To them they are protecting the sender from getting scammed, because which normal person sends money to Nigerians. embarassed
Hi, but they won't get blocked if you try sending through Dom or Payoneer, isn't it?

Payoneer have turned down payments severally ....this is not small change ,,,of it's were less than $200,they won't bother but just send $2k and above,na wahala for payoneer and other platforms.

Access bank no longer accepts payoneer inflow. The money I withdrew on 29th November was refunded back on 2nd December. I asked Access bank and they said they no longer accept inflow from payoneer.

Please which bank are you using and when last did you withdraw?

I use third-party exchangers. And GTBank should work with Payoneer anyway.

For whatever reason some of my clients are not too keen on wiring money, and there are some banks that don't even allow this, bank to bank, unless it's done with Western Union.
