See EFCC forming Rambo. It ain't their fault, the dumb Nigeria fraudsters made the bursting job very easy for EFCC. You are a student, you don't have a job, or tangible business, and your father, mother, or relative is not a billionaire. Yet you are buying houses and driving Benz. Is dumb not an understament to decribe you?

Nigeria is not among the top 3 nations in terms of internet scams. But I can bet my balls that Nigeria has the highest number of dumb fraudsters.

No opsec, no covering of footprints both online and offline. The EFCC is not even doing their jobs (they are part of the scam), the scammers are the ones even broadcasting themselves to the world.

People run scams even from prison walls, in western countries, and they don't joke with their opsec. But here all we do, is start showing off once we pick small change. Dumb Nigerian scammers.

I understand what you mean.

But ask yahoo boys what they spend their loot on

Let me tell you, if you steal my 100 million dollars and i hear someday that you’ve been able to turn that 100 million into 1 billion by starting up a successful company, do you think I would be angry with you for stealing my money?

I go shake you bros because me sef don’t know what I could i have achieved with that money if you hadn’t stolen it. You can then even say you want to return my money back then we will both be happy.

But yahoo boys have no tangible things they spend their loot on other than flashy cars that later become liabilities to them.
I know how many of then for my street don sell their Glk. Some abadon am for mechanic
They spend it on expensive drinks their parents will not dare try to buy even if they had the same amount of money.

They throw parties and start spraying money to form azaman or whatever term they use to describe themselves

They buy expensive phones and worthless clothes whoose prices are blown out of proportion.

If you must scam someone, make sure when the person finally finds you,he would be happy to have been scammed

Scammers do exist and operate all over the world for sure, BUT those in Nigeria do constitute a far greater percentage of the general population than is the case anywhere else on the planet, with the possible exception of Jamaica, where lottery scam practitioners are numerous and prolific in their own crime wave.
USA's population is 5% of world total population but their criminals constitute 22% of world criminals undecided

Scamming is accepted as a profession within Nigerian society, which is fair enough, considering the level of human & technological development. Afterall, slave trading and ownership was once a legitimate job in American & British societies at some point in their development...

It’s wrong for the EFCC to publicly parade criminals. What’s the call for the public show off, it makes it look like we are the only corrupt nation on earth.

Simple, prosecute criminals silently, no need to dey loud am. We are only damaging our national image, whereas those we put ourselves in their mercy are way worse than we are as a nation.

The reason they do that is to show the international community that they're "fighting corruption" and have them financially support the cause. That's how they realize billions of dollars in donation money that has never been accounted for. But they don't understand that by so doing, they're doing more damage to Nigeria's image overseas than the yahoo boys.

I was so frustrated about this that I once emailed the FBI to arrest the EFCC operatives. I copied the message to all the law enforcement agents, including the EFCC itself.

If anybody perceives Nigerians today as fraudulent, the EFCC is a major culprit. It leaves me wondering: how did an institution set up by Obasanjo to help us solve financial crimes in Nigeria end up being a tool in the hands of white people to solve THEIR problem? This is one good example of things that makes me begin to wonder whether something is wrong with the brain of the black man in Africa.

Nigeria is not even in the top 10 most fraudulent countries in the world when it comes to online scam but our slave brain won't let us handle ours well.

The TV documentary series called "60 Minutes, Australia", recently aired an expose on how Nigerian scammers working online are destroying lives in Australia. This footage included a dramatic raid on a 419 scam house filled with computers and scammers at work.

For those who wonder why Nigerians are treated like criminals wherever they travel on this planet, look no further than the effects of the Yahoo Boys internet scam artists.

You are very wrong. You wrote absolute and utter balderdash.

You want to know the kings of international crime? Look to the Ukrainians, Albanians, Russians, the Chinese and even the US. They operate well organised highly secretive crime and fraud syndicates for decades running into billions of dollars.

Nigerians are made the scapegoats because we are naturally very loud and obnoxious people when we get the ill gotten money and start spending like fools and creating scenes anywhere we go e.g the hushpuppies et al

The government is yet to address the root caused of internet scam, a population of a country filled with unemployment expect anything worse than this, I don’t take side with those doing fraud but government is also part of the problem they are the real fraud

Efcc should first Arrest Atiku for selling 250 NIGERIAN ASSETS in 2002 in the National Privitation Commitee in the sums well over 250 billion dollars. And stop chasing the youths. But this does not make any form of 419 right.

Actually we aren't the most scammers, the reason you think so is because we have one of the largest population on the planet, so even if a small percentage of over 200 million people are scamming you'll hear the news regardless.

The scammers who account for most cybercrime would be North Korean hackers, Indians, Russians and many more.

Just as an example, North Korean hackers stole $625 million from just a single US entity(Axie Infinity)
