How did you do it? My Redmi was stolen November last year, I have the pack, how I can get it back? Thanks.

I used the "lost my device" on my xiaomi account. I already activate it on the phone before it was stolen

If na iPhone with latest software updates or some Samsung, you can be lucky but redmi Xiaomi, SOPE OTILO...

Some people would say the Nigerian police have the technology but it's a lie.

The only people that can find your phone through sim card or IMEI are the network providers.
This service is not generally available to ordinary people due to security reasons, except if one gets a permit from the police. (The DSS issues permits like this, but they will hardly give it to you...). The Nigerian police usually exploit this option for themselves. When you report your stolen phone to them, THEY BILL YOU, and consult your network providers directly to find the phone through sim card or IMEI (GPS IS USUALLY USELESS BECAUSE THE THIEVES WOULD HAVE TURNED IT OFF IMMEDIATELY OR EVEN TURN OFF THE PHONE).

THE NIGERIAN POLICE DOESN'T HAVE ANY INDEPENDENT TECHNOLOGY TO TRACK ANY PHONE, DEM USUALLY JUST DEY USE UNA CHOP MONEY.

The saddest part of this scam by Nigerian police is that, even after you pay, most times they won't even make any effort to finding the phone. They'll just start lying and posting you until you get tired and give up.
You've already said that the Nigerian police can contact the network service provider and there's a chance of you getting back the phone, but if you go to the network service provider yourself then you won't receive a positive reply. So the police is still the best bet.

What happened with mine was the phone was stolen and I immediately reported it stolen and locked it remotely. So, whenever the phone was put on for whatever reason, it sends me the location.

They changed the SIM so many times and flashed it so many other times, but it always sends location as long as the data is on.

I gradually tracked it until they stopped moving the phone about 3 months later and then I called police and entered the building with them

We found the phone and the thief was arrested with all his partners... Shikena

Can techno spark do the same?? Do you need to register it or set it to be able to receive any information being processed?

Nothing Surprises me here. 90% of Nigerian can be Absolutely Tracked because of their GULLIBILITY. Na only to dey Carry Olosho, Marrying different Wives, Buy Lexus, Dey Show up and down like Mumu dem know after carrying out their Cheap SCAM. Nothing Tangible really dey their Upstairs.

You are hiding from people, Yet you are making Calls and Connected to the Internet without SECURED CONNECTION Even some Secured Connection can be Compromised by Network Providers If the Individual Isn't a strong Party. Even the Masked IP and VPN we usually used are sometimes given out to Authorities on Request.

The Best Is to do away with anything e-Connection No be mouth making, If I decide to venture into Crime. Forget, The Authorities won't be able to get hold of me.

But I thank the Universe Crime no be my Way. So I get Peace and Rest of Mind.
Anybody can be tracked. While you're making calls both you and the receiver can be tracked to your exact location, I've seen it happen first hand.

I know, but did you read my last statement?

The problem is that, after you finished paying them, they'll refuse to do it and just pocket all the money.
Most times, the money goes into the wrong hands (the wrong officer.

Of course, the risk of paying the wrong officer and having to pay more than one officer is there. But then, to recover a stolen phone the police is still the best option that average Nigerians have.

You don't think samsung can even beat them when it comes to security? lol
You're funny
For your info, I have a Redmi here at home, it's my family emergency phone incase something happens but I can't even use it cos the UI is shit.
You don't even need location or anything on with Samsung to find it. Even if it gets wiped or deleted, as long as it's ever turned on again, you'll find your Samsung phone and Google map will lead you to the exact location. Infact, you can remotely wipe, lock, delete and make it ring when there is no Sim in it and the ringing won't stop no matter what the person press until you stop it from your end.
I really don't need to talk about this. There is no argument here.
how?

Just a hint. Do you know you can turn on your iPhone gps remotely? I once lost ordinary iPhone 6. I switched on the gps remotely, tracked it and rendered it useless until the guy turned Good Samaritan by force and called the number I left on the screen.

So like you said, iPhone and Samsung all the way.

Baba how could you say you rendered iPhone 6 useless?

Boys dey wipe that fone in few minutes naa

Boy, only say what you know. I stopped taking you seriously the moment you said that he would have been lucky if it was an iPhone or a Samsung, like WTF bro?! grin
We all know that the Nigeria police doesn’t own the phone tracking technology but which one be DSS permit before being able to track stolen phones?
You sound like a thief trying to dissuade people from using the police to track their stolen phones grin
Y’all shouldn’t mind this thief, yes, the phone tracking technology doesn’t belong to the Nigerian police but unlike you, an ordinary citizen, they (police) have seamless access to the service (ignore this one trying to make it look like it’s a DSS level service ) and provided that a SIM card is inserted into the stolen phone, your network provider can access and provide the coordinate information to the police and I’ve witnessed this severally. Don’t mind this clueless thief. So na only Samsung and IPhones dey trackable grin
I’ll advise ppl to start adopting the E-sim technology if it’s available on their phones. Stay blessed.
