Not sure because I haven't been to the North of Nigeria. I do know one thing though; temperatures in the US are usually not normal. They are either too hot that people walk around topless (mostly males).
in that case their climate is not normal

You forgot to buy banana at Ore and Benin. This your trip no sweet abeg!

Road trip pictures from Salt Lake City, Utah to Las Vegas.

Travel Time (According to map): 6 hours 2 minutes
Total Travel Time: 6 hours 50 minutes
Number of Stops: 2
Number of Gas Stops: 2
Number of nights in Vegas: 4
Total amount spent: It is well

I feel the distance should have been more because there was crazy traffic the day we set out but we traveled on the express lane it shaved off a bit of time.

You didn't even snap where you find police for road small money. What of the number of police and army checkpoint you met on the road, you didn't tell us. I forgot to even add Road safety, didn't they ask you for fire extinguisher and check if your tyres have expired. Abeg na, update us, the gist no complete!

Wow! I read that a room per night there costs about $10,000.
Lol. Not true. A room there can go from $135 on weekdays and run as high as $800 per night on their most expensive nights. It is a classy hotel from the outside but the casino makes it less desirable. Too much hemp, cigarette smell, and alcohol. Plus, hotels with casinos are extremely noisy; loud annoying songs that wouldn't go off and noises from people at the casino. You seriously don't want to experience it.

The last time I bought gas, was on Sunday and it was $3.98 per gallon. Gas is not sold per litre unlike in Nigeria and a gallon has about 3.8 liters of gas.

I think you're mistaken. There is the REAL AREA 51 meant for the US Air Force and it is highly classified and then there is Area 15 pretty much a sci-fi-ish area. I'd like to believe Area 15 is a copy of Area 51. Both are in Nevada but Area 15 is in Vegas, just a couple of minutes away from the Strip.

With due respect Sanchez, I happen to have obsessively followed the folklore surrounding Area 51, Groom Lake, and Area S4, and I can tell you as a matter of absolute certainty that those top-secret US government military facilities are located 20 minutes by AIR from Las Vagas McCarran Airport, out in the Nevada Desert, and definitely NOT anywhere near the city itself.

Every morning, a number of white, unmarked Boeing 737 jets load up with Area 51 staffers, and depart Las Vegas McCarran Airport, heading for the Nevada Desert while flying under the unique radio call sign prefixed by the word Janet. Every evening, those same jets complete the 20-minute flight back to Vegas, returning those staffers to their homes around the city.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janet_(airline)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_51 "Area 51 is located in the southern portion of Nevada, 83 miles (134 km) north-northwest of Las Vegas."

Those aircraft have only ONE destination, which is of course Area 51, and they run in and out of that location daily year-round. Now, there is nothing to prevent any commercial enterprise within the Las Vegas metropolis, or indeed anywhere else, from adopting the name Area 51 for publicity purposes, thus there is no question that the building you noted from your hotel window is precisely such an establishment. That said, I am sure that after you read the above Wikipedia page on Janet Airlines, you will agree that a building located within the Las Vegas metro area will NOT require air travel to reach by its staff on their daily commute.

By the way, I really enjoyed the excellent photo journal of your trip to Sin City, and those images do bring back fond memories of my road trip there from Cali back in the day, screaming across the desert in a Ford Mustang convertible while toking up some righteous bud on the sly. Looking forward to seeing more of your journalism as the years roll by. Over and out for now, my brethren.

As a footnote, accessing the Wikipedia page on Janet Airlines will NOT work directly from Nairaland. One needs to pursue that link from a US IP address evidently. Such is the level of secrecy surrounding that airline and its purpose. I have NEVER seen such a level of information access blockage on the net in the past.

This is after driving for 2 hours 48 minutes+ drive. It was an extremely hot day and I ended up burning more gas than usual, no thanks to the AC. The road was almost free from Richfield forward. Had my first gas stop there. Although, my tank was half full, it was important to take a leak and top up to avoid stories that touch the heart.
Good road.

It was my first time driving out of town and I can confidently say driving through the scenic mountains of Arizona was the scariest moment of my trip. The bends, twists and turns was just ridiculous and it ran for more than 4 miles. These pictures didn't exactly do justice to the bends and scary roads that run through the mountains of Arizona.

I know exactly what you mean

Bro, what exactly are you arguing over? Are you trolling or something The pictures clearly say Area 15 but you keep going on about Area 51. If you have the time to pull up links, why can’t you then spare a bit of time to look up Area 15? Why are Nigerians like this Anyways, here, I hope this helps: https://area15.com/

Oga no fess. I have dyslexia and often read numbers back to front. Furthermore, I thought OP was claiming that the top secret Area 51 military base was located within the Vegas metro area, so I felt compelled to correct that misconception in order to win brownie points and maybe get laid more with the local girls here.

Hi there. I really liked the photos. It must have been a very cool trip. I envy you in a good way. It reminded me of my youth. I used to spend almost every weekend in Las Vegas. I'm a gambler myself. I love roulette, slot machines, and especially poker. And Vegas has a special atmosphere: round-the-clock entertainment girls and drinking . It's scary to think how much money I've lost in my life. Now I can only play online on Mostbet. Next time, have fun for me.

Nurse salary is relatively better in Europe compared to Nigeria but nothing special

it's America they earn big money.

Nigeria Is country with abundant opportunities.
It much easier making money in Nigeria.
In abroad one has to work like donkey.
That is why many people complain of no money because they are tired of working hard.
