Not true at all. Lecturers in ICAN tuition centers are not even allowed anywhere near examination committee. I qualified years back so I should know better. The process involved doesn’t give room for leakage.

WAEC to prosecute 56 website operators for leaking WASSCE questions

When is the FG going to prosecute Professors of Medicine who leak medical school exam questions to their children before the exam date and their children then go on to leak the exam questions to their close knit circle of friends in Med school and they end up scoring 100% in the exams ??

This then goes on to affect the other honest hardworking students who may eventually be deemed to have failed because a) there is negative marking in med school with the questions you got wrong being deducted from the ones you got right and b) if too many people pass the exams, the authorities will plot a graph (i.e deduct marks from every one) and anyone falling below that graph will be deemed to have failed.

This happened when I was in medical school and was one of the reasons the course tire me and on top of this, 20% of my class will cheat to pass their second attempt at 2nd MB exams lest they get kicked out of Med school.

Imagine a situation where people who are repeating 2nd MB exams decide to do division of labor and instead of studying every thing they decide to study just upper limb and someone else studies lower limb, thorax, head and neck etc, etc and then they sit at the back of the class and compare notes and end up scoring 100%.

This is apart from the children of Professors of Medicine who were being given preferential treatment in the exam hall (e.g. coming too late for an exam and instead of disqualifying her, the invigilator - a lecturer who was taught in med school by the girls father who is a Prof of medicine) kept repeating to our hearing "where is the she that must be obeyed" until the Profs daughter showed up more than an hour late for the exam and was still allowed to sit the exam against the rules that would have applied to the common mans child.

And then there is the case of the son of a Prof of medicine in my class who used to see the real exam questions before the exam date and then circulate them to his inner circle and they all end up scoring 100% in the exam .

No wonder there are so many heartless killer doctors in Nigeria.

And my Med school experience is why I take what Doctors tell me with a pinch of salt.
