No being can boast of these two seeming contradictory qualities with such seemless perfection like the God of the Bible. Also called the God of Heaven; the Almighty.

I mean he is the all-mighty right!

We all know that an uncreated being as God can do unspeakable things, work wonders and show great power and signs. In short any word that comes out from God's mouth is a law. And the whole universe is bound by it.

However, apart from his exceeding power. He has characteristics that distinguish him from creation. Some of which are *His eternity *His omni-traits *His love *His mercy *His holiness *His wisdom *His righteousness

Aha! His righteousness.

To be righteous means to establish judgement as deserved. (Without compromise or sentiment)
Righteousness is a "cold unfeeling" quality that either condemns or justifies.

There is no middle ground or settlement when it comes to righteousness.

Righteousness says what is right is justified. What is wrong is condemned.
A soul that sins must die Even if you are my child, you must die once you sin, no compromise, no pleading, no settlement.

Yes God is that righteous. When you see this side of God. It's discomforting because you wonder where His mercy is? But righteousness is the way of God. He must be righteous else he would not be God.

That means every other quality of God must throd on this part. God's mercy cannot be seen except through his cold-like righteousness. Even love can't pass through except through this part of righteousness.

Herein lies the dilemma. How can God be loving and righteous same time towards a sinner without smearing his righteous quality since the only basis by which he must show love is righteousness.

God said a soul that sins must die-Let's call this, law 1.

Man has sinned. Therefore man must die. God must see to it that man dies. (Righteousness) If he tries to pity man and spares his life, He, God, would become unrighteous and lose his title as God for God must be righteous in all his doings.

But God loves man so much and wants to do something about the whole situation.

What should be done?

God took counsel from himself-the All-wise God.

It is from this counsel that another man known as the Christ was birthed.

This Christ and his work would be the unifier of God's love and righteousness.
