those you mentioned are not tuition. Tuition means money paid for being taught. It directly goes into paying the teachers.

Tuition does not exist even in your school fees printouts. You only see these ones you highlighted.

Tuition will be reintroduced and federal schools will become expensive.

The alternative is get the student loan.

The other ones you mentioned will still be there, as they have always been there, just that they don’t exceed 20k most times (examination fee, library fee).

Please, kindly mention a Federal higher institution - University, Polytechnic or College of education- where it's tuition or school fees free.
If you name one, I'd send you 2k for your trouble.

Criminals are showing the hands.

Student loan for student who's parents end less than 500k per annum then tuition fee for all.

More hardship from corrupt apc

That's when you'll understand what Tinibu meant by saying "he will recruit millions of youths into the army and feeds them with cassava, garri. Make Onah just the play.

If you dont have a job, you are not paying any loan.

That is what happens abroad.

When you get a job, they deduct a percentage from the source.

Federal Universities across the country have increased their school fees already, so I don't understand this tuition fees again

Imagine someone studying Civic Education paying about #100k school fees already and they're still talking about tuition fees

I hope this is not true, because last last everybody go leave the school for them

Not everybody should go to Uni...

The World has changed.

Abroad, they get student loans, if you like go and study useless course, na you go use head carry am.

I have an Oyinbo friend that went to Oxford to study Literature!

He ended up working in a bookshop and then worked in a food shop...

An Oxford graduate!

He later had to go back to study Medicine.

There are Mechanics driving 100k Pound cars abroad, while graduates are working as receptionists.

You gast use your brain-- university is not for everyone.

Nigerian Thienubu want to now enslave the remaining youths with this obnoxious student loan. U will take the laon ang graduate with no job to pay back, Then u become government miserable slave for the rest of your life. They will be hunting u upandan on top your joblessness and misery

Dont be ignorant oga.

Nobody will ask you to pay a loan, if you don't have a job.

That is how it is done everywhere else.

When you get a job, then they deduct a percentage you will pay over several years.

They even collect interest abroad, while this Government has said theirs will be without.

So...?
Re: Students’ Loan: FG To Introduce Tuition Fees In Universities by lawani: 4:10pm On Jun 14, 2023
Instead of allocating funds to universities only for ASUU to go on strike for two out of every eight years, there should be a policy of government paying the tuition of anybody that secure admission. That will make the universities viable and even profitable. International students will stream in and the boards of those universities will be able to turn out a profit. The FG can easily do this and do away with strikes once and for all. The first tier universities can potentially rake in tonnes of money. If you pass the entrance examinations sufficiently, government should sponsor you. They will make money from international students.

Okay, you don't have a tuition fee? Take this student loan to pay us then reimburse us later when you start working?

Tinubu is very brilliant.

At least, with the student loan, the youths that failed to payback would be recruited into the army as payback. Agbado and cassava go surplus.

50 million youths into the army, is here to stay.

The highest I paid for Medicine in OAU was 19k in my first year.

The rest was below 15k.

Didn't spend up to 100k in all my years in School.

When I mention this abroad, my Oyinbi colleagues always feel like strangling me.

Their own student loan debts na die!
