So I just say make I come post something here based on a conversation I had with a guy here on NL regarding Jobs in Nigeria and Nigerian employers.

So, there was this job alert on X for a mid-level React Native Developer. I swear my mind tell me say na one of those jobs wey plenty headache dey follow cos the person asked to join a whatsapp group. Well, I still say make I apply as country hard small like this grin

To my surprise, over 100 people joined same group, and I was like wow, devs dey 9ja ooo.

I became even more suspicious when i asked a question based on job description and the developments direction since it's RN... see ehn, RN has become complex, yet very simple but you need to know what development direction you're to follow.
1. The bare RN development
2. The Expo Managed Workflow, which is further distinguished by the SDK you're using... because of the new App Router in Expo SDK 49 and new releases.

So, I noticed a few guys also asked intelligent questions based on the job, they still didn't answer rather, posted a Google form link for application.
Finally, application form with job description.

Omo, Nigerian employers really need to do better.
You're telling people they will be earning 100k up to 300k in Naira... and have a work input of 40hrs per week.
Hahaha!!!!

Well, guess what, I got kicked out of the group when I asked why they'd want to pay a React Native Developer between $100 - $300 per month on a 40hr weekly input.

Na ment? grin grin
I know say hunger dey but some 9ja employer wicked abeg. Tomorrow they'd say they are doing you favour... someone will take the job and I wish em the best of luck when RN starts with im wahala! RN is simple BUT omo, if e start with you, you'd hope you don't smash your computer on the ground.

See screenshots grin🤣🤣😂😂
