Strike for someone involved in Labour Party campaigns in Imo? These people are buffons. Its party affairs, and Ajaero is a Labour Party man.. why combining it with union matter. Its doomed to fail. Maybe a success in one or two states with labour party governor and plenty Obi supporters.

The foundation of the strike is faulty!
The right time to strike was when the subsidy was removed in a [i]hurry[/[i] without enough measures to cushion the effects.

And the floating of the dollar, which although is a good thing, the masses are not ready for it,.and most.dont understand it. Because what they understand are the price tags!

I think the best time was during the cash swap by CBN—-labour refused to come through for the average and poor Nigerians perhaps because of other interests which are obviously selfish and anti-people.

WOCKHARDI:

It is now.
You feel that the way the NLC President was assaulted, humiliated and embarrassed is okay because he is omo Igbo. If he is Ronu or Arewa I can imagine what your reaction will be. One Nigeria indeed.
You can never use this tactics to deceive Nigerians.

The NLC got himself involve in partisan politics and he was attacked by thugs who are igbos in Igbo land.

The NLC president was not attacked by Yorubas or Hausas.

True, but as NLC Oga, going for strike because supposed govt thugs gave U a resounding beating for Ur political shenanigans in ur home state should not lead to Nationwide strike. THATS BAD OPTICS, Makes NLC seem more like the govt they criticise & abusing thier power. Union is all about the welfare of d majority NOT PERSONAL VENDETTA.
Gbam! Rightly said

The very first thing to do to make nigeria better is to allow Igbos go, but unfortunately they themselves had rather be slaves in nigeria than have their own country bcus they know, deep in their hearts that, as warped as nigeria is, they will fare better (and are faring better) in nigeria than in biafra.

The average igboman will say ''let us go", ''give us biafla/lefflendun'' "biafla or death", but day by day is influxing lagos/kano with his brethren. He is going east with his mouth but channeling all his energy westwards and nothwards with his heart/actions!

The scripture says ''can two walk together except they be agreed?".
There's no tribe whose heart is farthest from (the unity of) nigeria than the Igbos.

So, for a better nigeria, I'll pray for the peaceful secession of biafra, which is also the prayer of the average igboman.
cool

Even though there are court orders suspending any form of protest from Labour union yet they insist on proceeding with it from Yesterday's midnight ( Mon 13th).

What's the situation in your area/state about the nationwide protest?

Court order kill you. Satan

Habaa! grin grin grin

Mosba:
Funny enough the strike is taken more serious than the one embarked on to fight for workers rights. I say and I quote, everyone on strike now aren't doing it because of Ajaro, it's mostly to rest and safe transport cost. But if beating Ajaero will continue to cause strikes like this I pray he gets another beaten as soon as he recovers.

I think we need to get certain things correct in Nigeria because the government does not care for the people, The labour union is the only instrument to set the government priority right to correct the bad things they are doing

The same labours that helps the politician to siphoned the money in various sectors, same labours that will not attend to you on time in their office except you grease hand
