A bride requested a divorce 24 hours after their wedding after her husband violated the ‘one rule’ she'd had for their big day.

She revealed that she said it was ‘over’, but her friends warned her to give the big decision a rethink.

Writing to US magazine she said: “I never cared about getting married, but I wasn’t opposed to it.

“So when my boyfriend proposed in 2020, we decided to go for it.

“We each took on about half the responsibility for organising the wedding, but I think I was pretty reasonable about compromise when he really wanted something.”

She went onto detail that she had one 'hard-and-fast' rule when it came to the big day - that he wouldn’t rub their wedding cake in her face.

The woman continued: “My only hard-and-fast rule was that he would not rub cake in my face at the reception.

“Being a reasonable man who knows me well, he didn’t.

“Instead, he grabbed me by the back of the head and shoved my head down into it."

She then went on to say that the stunt was 'planned' as he'd had a 'bunch of cupcakes as backup'.

The newlywed did question whether she was overreacting, but added that she struggled with claustrophobia following a car accident she'd been involved in.

Actually, this is something I can do in real life, the cake part, and we can choose to laugh over it. If she should give me any divorce papers to sign, I would sign them so fast that she'd think it was all a lie(the I love you tori to run)
