My sisters I have a testimony oooo, for the past 12mths or more I have not had a natural period. I have to induce ovulation or induce period all this while with drugs because of the PCOS.
Today I was contemplating when it will be the right time to induce this months period only for my period to start on its own!!! For the 1st time ever!!! I am sooo happy!

So it is true that my weight is my own enemy and carbs the devil itself!!

I assume my body is already getting better! I couldn't buy a new scale but I weighed at the clinic. Apparently my digital scale has gone gaga! I now hover around 108kg, frm 117kg and not 97kg! I was afraid that I was overdoing the dieting. I heard such sudden weight drop is bad for the heart and the liver, so I was panicking. So it is 9kgs in 1mth. By God's grace, another 8kg will drop this following month!

Okay, am in! Ready to TTC! *big grin* I really couldn't TTc cos of my non existing cycles!

My lot

Breakfast: Lipton tea and plantain chips
Lunch: nil
Dinner: chicken, and liver and kidney suya

I feel so good today!

That pg weight is Almost here for u. Someone on ttc thread wrote on possible dates for laparoscopy...ur doc may be on track with d date he gv u earlier.

@ nefer.. Congratsssss. That you first miracle. Thank God for weight loss. I know it helps with PCOS. It also means your body would soon be ovulating on its own. Please bring on that BFP.....

@ believer..welcome back.. you try well well o! Lemme not deceive myself, I cant diet on vacation. Unless am going to a boot camp. Congrats on your weight loss.. ROTFLMAO at DH having to force you to use the scales at the airport grin

@Udoka. Thanks a lot for that info. I have asked the poster a question. Cos I noticed that HSG is on Day 10 (saw this online too). If HSG has already been done, then I guess a lap to check the walls would be fine anytime. But the problem I have is that the clinic does not do HSG (they say its outdated undecided ). Which means they will kill two birds with one stone (1.checking the walls of the uterus and 2.Running the solution thru the tubes to check for blockages)

Yes HSG is on day 10,so that there wont be any blood and you havent ovulated.
What do they mean HSG being outdated... dont really like the idea of laps...why shd l have an incision why HSG can almost achieve the same result

I hope it's not too late to join o! Been ttc #1 for 2 years now, have had 3 mcs and I'm finally telling myself the truth-I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!
I'm 5'7 and I weigh embarassed 117kg. My target weight is 70 kg so I need to lose 47 kg! I've started a vegetable and fruit diet, been on it for 3 days now. It's not a drastic diet, I eat all the greens I want, plenty watermelon and plenty garden eggs. I've been peeing like mad, but I'm glad I found this thread. Now I'm encouraged to add beans to it. As for exercise em, em, em...we'll talk about that later.

Hello Ladies,

I am so glad I bumped into this group. I have been trying to loose some weight all through my adult years and it has been very difficult. I was so discouraged and depressed prior to bumping into this group.
I am ttc and I need to take this healthy living seriously. I easily put on weight and find it extremely difficult to shed it.
I hope it is not too late to join the group.
I am 83kg, 1.55metres in height,my ideal weight should be 53kg, so i am trying to loose 30kg( shocked) hmmmmm......
may God help us all.

Today is day 4 for me
Breakfast-Nothing (fast)
Lunch (3pm)- 1/4 of a watermelon, 3 garden eggs.
Dinner (6pm) -beans and greens
Snack after dinner - 1/4 watermelon

Won't it be wonderful if we woke up tomorrow and are at our perfect weight #wishfulthinking!

Pls does anyone know a zero calorie alternative to water? I'll still dring water, but too much water gives me a headache.

Hey Ladies, i am so so sorry that i've been completely MIA. Its been a very crazy past week and half. My brother's wedding is coming up and preparations have been hectic cos him and his wife live out of state so my mum has to plan everything.

My diet has been very poor, i've just been eating anyhow which made me realize how important this forum is cos i had no one to answer to. But now am back, i cant even log wat i ate 2day on here cos Seanbell will finish me with her cane.
So my dieting will start 2mrw. My aunt that i hvnt seen in a few months came 2rm nigeria 2day and asked me how come am losing wieght. So i guess the 2 weeks diet did help cos i still hvnt weighed myself since we started this wieght loss journey.

Thankfully i've been getting good news from my Dr regarding all the testing done on me, all my results have been normal. They even screened me for cervical cancer and that came bck negative. So am just one of the statistics, nuttin is causing my miscarriage other than Low Progesterone. I only have HSG left at the end of this month n hopefully dat is normal too and then i'll be on my way back to my DH in nigeria...i cant wait cos i've been here since March.

I'll try and read all i missed but it will probably take me sometime. Anyway i trust that all of you are doing very well. I truly missed this forum.
Rcokqueen, Udoka2, Seanbell, Mistia, believer84, Shiloh, Mrs.Kem09, nefertitiram....i thot about u guys evry single day and prayed that y'all wuld hve gotten ur BFP's b4 i cme bck or even if you hvnt its so much closer than you think.

Hope we are still believing and trusting in God...one love.

@udoka...do u know that dis morning I have daydreamt that I got a harmless food poisoning that made me drop to my desired weight overnyt...its dat bad! Cos I had a passport sized photo taken dis morning and my face wan fat full the picture!!Which kyn life! Upon all the dieting..as for my christian mother hand, forgerrit!

I refuse to give up sha..plus I like how I don't feel guilty after eating these days.
I know the lack of atleast 20mins of exercise is part of why am not feeling slim anymore...after AF, I'll resume.

The way the body works, we need to not only reduce the calories, but also burn off more than we intake...This is because the body metabolism adjusts.When we reduce our calorie intake, it reduces the calories it burns normally!That's why we need the cardio...

Am planning to do a one-week intensive 1 hour cardio + No Carbs + No late Meals program the last week of this month!

I'll let u know how it goes.

lunch @ 3.40pm; 3spoons of rice sad with 2pieces of beef.
Snack@ 5,30pm; a serving of cashew nut.
Dinner; skipped (slept off, was very tired).
exercise; Nil, trying to psyche myself up to start (too lazy)

l got to understand how great this thread is motivating me in this WL program.. l was offered ice cream ysterday..l couldnt believe l refused it..cos l no say l go come report myself here... grin. d thing no even hungry me, if na b4 l go collect am sharp sharp whether l desire it or notgrin. Yesterday:
Breakfast-nil
Lunch-1 cup of cubed pawpaw
Dinner-1 vegetable omelette (made with 2 egg whites, 1 full egg, mushrooms, cabbage and green beans)
1/2 cup of fresh pineapple juice (diluted with 1/2 cup of water)

Today:
Breakfast-one glass of lemon, water and honey
1 cup of cubed pawpaw
Lunch-1 veg omelette
Snack-1 mango and 1 garden egg
grin . I can't believe I'm sticking to this o! But I've found that I've actually slept better for the past 2 days. I used to go to bed by like 2 am and wake up by 6.30am, but, for the past 2 days, I have gone to bed by like 11pm and woken up by 7.30am.
My goal is UK size 12 by Octobet 22(my birthday) tongue, I'm a UK size 20 now

As for exercise, I bought a dvd, it's called 'I want that body' by Tamilee, I did only 5 squats yesterday morning and I'm still feeling the pain!!! So I'm thinking I'll just walk mornings and evenings.

Goodluck to everyone of us, not only with our weight (or lack of it), but with our BFPs! May they all be sticky!!!
