@udoka. Lol! Its a solution that kills germs. It comes in a bottle and is used for cleaning cuts or for mouthwash (says that on the bottle). You can only get it in Pharmacies, its quite common!
When it get in contact with blood, etc, it bubbles (kinda like champagne). This bubbling action pushes out the dirt in injuries.

My parents have always used it on us growing up and the day I saw the 'can be used as mouthwash' it had a new purpose for me!

Yesterday's log
Breakfast: Nil (group fast)

Lunch: small swallow with vegetable (una see say I dey even fear to put eba)

Dinner: one handful of garri soaked in water and peanuts. 2 pieces of plantain fried in olive oil

This week, I'll try to stay off carbs...am sure I've confused my body enuf!

Exercise, the cramping let up a bit today after we dtd yesterday.

I have called the clinic to cancel the appointment for laparoscopy, firstly cos dh says I should wait till we can both take tym off work. That he doesn't want me to do it and resume work the next day, also so that he'll be around to take care of me afterwards(my family isn't here, we're keeping all dis away from friends for now). The second reason is 'what the heck kinda gynae go know say person dey find pickin, and e go fix that kin surgery so late in my cycle!!!!!What if egg dey form and e flush am commot with the dyetufiakwa olorun maje!!!Na dat wan vex me pass!

You tried, but how can you watch BBA till 1am, you need rest ooo, no stress yourself jare, we need at least 6hrs of sleep per day. DH refused going to multichoice office to renew our subscription, since bank refused accepting money, l know l would have been guilty too.

I bought it N470 at Maga Plaza in Victoria Island.
I wl try the mixture i.e honey and cinnamon tomorow morning to know how it taste. The cinnamon can be used as spice for your dishes like curry.

Really! Please could u describe or post the link here?
Meanwhile, now that the pain has let up, I need to continue exercising...
For those of us in our 2ww, can anyone post some exercise tips that will burn fat without rocking the uterus?

I have a confession....I eat when am stressed up!As in, I get really hungry then I eat a lot and sleep enuf.
That's why dis fast is helping me...
Also in my spiritual life..am growing!
I find a reason to thank God everyday..not only asking for the fruit of the womb, I thank Him for all the things that he has done for me!
I always have a song in my heart

Although I noticed that the song that comes to me most often is....

"Even now",Declares the Lord,

"Return to Me with all your hearts.

With fasting, and weeping, and mourning.

Rend your hearts, and not your garments"
(Adapted from Joel 2:12-13)

You see, whether you are successful or not with your mission of having a flat belly or losing weight will depend on about 80% of your dietary efforts. Are you aware that most Nigerian meals that we cherish so much are fat storing foods? eg pounded yam and egusi soup. Now eating pounded yam with egusi soup would contain at most 1,200 calories for ONE meal. Not only that, 1g of fat = 9 calories and 1g of carbohydrates = 4 calories. When you eat a plate of pounded yam with egusi soup or such meals that contain mostly carbohydrates and fat of between 1000 – 1,200 calories in only one meal...

So when you eat our typical Nigerian meals (containing both carbs and fat) it IS the reason for Belly Fat and Weight GAIN because.. even though fat can be stored even without insulin, the presence of insulin (from carbs) at the same time with Leptin makes the STORAGE of fat even easier.

Guess where the fat are stored?

Your belly…your arms(christain mothers hand)…your thigh….your hips….your neck…even your eyelids. So your success in your weight loss campaign is not just about sleeping in the gym but largely depends on your diet.so when you return from gym you head to dinning and consume a plate of egusi soup and pounded yam or garri...you know what you have done.

In summary, our typical Nigerian Diet are:

Carbs + fat = insulin + leptin
Insulin (storage hormone) + Leptin = FAT Storage
Fat Storage = BELLY Fat and BODY Fat

The truth is you simply CANNOT get in top physical, trim and healthy shape (flat-belly) without living in a state of eating healthy, Fat-BURNING meals.

I will advise that you eat Nigeria meals that will increase your metabolism and can convert your body to a fat burning machine.

You dont achieve weight loss by skipping meals.
