The worst of all after I might have paid for the normal BIS monthly charge,they still deduct my credit everytime I browse with the crazy crawling network.I make sure I don't have any credit befor I venture to browse.419 eMpTyheN & no body to penalise dem. what a corrupt country we are living in.call CustomerCare no answer cos they know & expecting you to complain.I move around daily & realised MTN is shit everywia try Airtel and come back to share your experience.If I was on MTN I can't add to any thread cos whenever the browser opens pages I won't even be able to do important things before it freezes again.

Church: Yaba / Sabo - Very poor and fluctuating signal.

am in CALABAR, my mTn BIS on my NOKIA C5 is performing below expectation (am posting this with it). Managed to download some few hundred megabyte downloads with the erratic 3.5G. But Edge kinda seems stable for now.

Airtel BIS also blazing wella on my Android Smartphone.

i live in Uyo and airtel's got a superb network here 3.5G.N1400 MONTHLY SUBSCRIBTION but just limited to 1Gb size of data

hmmmmm, mtn service is worst network here in cross river state, some days u cnt call anybody, u browse an if it manage to connect u wunt hear notin more dan crack sun, even wit the bad network, their charging rate is vry high both in calls and browsing. Samething here in Akure, it started two days ago.

MTN service is also very poor here in Ibadan (Apata area). The last week has been hell since I use MTN for trackin my trailers/tippers. I don't get my trip reports as I would. I wish I could just change networks bt can't. Changin networks wiLl mean recallin all the vehicles and changin the SIMs in the trackin unit. I hopr my drivers av not discovered that my ability 2 monitor them is limited.

The poor service has also affected the "sell and share" (ie credit transfer). Can't even load credit onto the damn trackers most of the time. Its a hit and miss. Anyone else havin probs wit sell and share

richtek: MTN has been fantastic here in lag.I use BBC for my curve4 and also connect with my playbook,men its own lovely.I stream,watch big brother and YouTube without much issues though sometime I get one or two network hiccup but all thesame MTN is the best best for me.I think we shld learn to trouble shoot with our bb devices when we experience issues.such as click on option,device,advanced sys settings,host routing table,bb sigh,and register now several time.It some times help to push down network.u cld also go to manage connections,mobile network,turn off and on data services.cheers [color=#000099][/color]

Am in Owerri, my BIS Connection started having problem two days ago but I just employed some technicalities and legal tricks to connect and hook steadily which I am using for streaming and YouTube videos. Is what am using now to post.

However, I must confess, it will be difficult for a layman who don't know how to manipulate internet connections.

Am in Onitsha and MTN is been hell here, my bb is always on gprs so I switch to etisalat. But to think of it mtn customers care is unreachable.

BB tip, hold down alt+rihgt aA⇧+del the same time to restart ur bb without removing the battery.

I am presently in the US and for over 2months now, I haven't had access to my MTN BIS and I have made up my mind that if they don't get it resolved this month, I will rather switch my number to a carrier that allows me get a SIM Card to use for my BB rather than waiting hopelessly for them.

MTN is good outside my area(ikorodu). I have EDGE at my house, GSM at my ikorodu office and 3G as frm mile12 into lag.

For your information, MTN has gotten wind of the cheat which peeps use for browsing on PC via BIS. They are working tirelessly to address the issue and end it. Got it from a staff in the engineering section here in Abj who happens to be my neighbour. Goodbye awuff browsing!

MTN is not that bad here in abuja but i must confess its been long since i subscribe to their nite plan. Presently i use etisalat to brwse on my pc. For calls i relegate my MTN to my nokia 2630 (small fone) and my etisalat to my nokia N97. MTN no dey try @ all

in akwa ibom,mtn network has been terrible but its worse at crossriver.browsing with mtn is virtually non existent in cross river.

Every where u go MTN is bad. . . from experience.

Airtel is certainly the best,for BIS text BISmonth to 440 cost 3k, you can also use BCM to 440 cost 1,500 a month and offer unlimited browsing with 1GB data value.

MTN network in my area, sango ota sometimes could be very bad. The BIS lately has been the worst.two days after a new subscriptn, its been hell browsing on my phone.the most anoying of it all is the customer service, for me which I think is the worst. They will never pick their calls.

I left Lagos back in February and came back two weeks ago too. I have no problem with calls but the internet is terrible at my side. It's so sloooooow. I can hardly upload anything. I stay in Ojuelegba, Surulere. I became convinced the problem was peculiar to my area when I went to Balogun two days ago and saw browsing was extremely fast.

I called MTN customer service yesterday; they said there's a network problem but they're working on it.

Stupidd network. My BIS is still there, wasting away. I couldn't bear it anymore and I had to subscribe for glo when I have barely used 2week outta my monthly subscription.

I called them telling them the network situation in my area. Quite alright, two of their staff called me back to get details of the problem (one of them is a base station engr.) But till now, the network has not been better. I have tried to text those staff telling them that the network has not improved but they didn't reply me.

MTN is just too useless!!!!!!
