How can you fathom it. So you think it is right for government to forcefully stop people from doing their business without relief to cushion the effect of hunger.

Bro. Going to a foodbank or requesting food from a foodbank when you can afford the food is fraudulent, unfair and unCanadian. You would rarely see Canadians do this except maybe immigrants have started bastardizing this gesture of goodwill. I have heard some food banks have now started requesting for referrals.
Acts like this would also discourage donations and deprive the people that really need the food banks of food.

I knew Mr. Salford will give a mature response. They were calling you, thinking that you will support them grin

I never pray to get into a condition that would lead myself, family or friends to a foodbank. It's not something to be proud of, except one goes there to volunteer. Period.

You are so conditioned to be a SUFFER-HEAD! I really pity people like you guys
On one hand, you are crying bitterly that you are dying of hunger and you are not doing anything about it because your leaders tell you "We are trying our best". grin grin

Someone more exposed than you is showing you, so you can act, that your leaders have turned you to a slave, you are here transferring agression that should have been used on you rleaders, on that person!

Is it the "shame" some nlers are associating with food banks that's causing so much rancour?

Even though more people need the assistance at this time?

I am not lying to you. I have absolutely no reason to misinform you. There are food banks in all the major cities in Canada. Maybe your relatives doesn't know about them, but I doubt it.

Leave all these ignorant people alone joor!
They stay in their cave and denounce everything, just because they are not exposed to it.
What is the big deal about food bank?
It is meant for those who are struggling to feed themselves, especially in a lockdown situation and it is done by sensible leaders, not the types that shirk responsibility and keep repeating "Ayam trying my best|, while he is fumbling up and down..

If they say it is a lie, dont argue ith them, a caveman that has never left his cave will argue that there is no light outside the cave.
Blissful ignorance is blissful.

The shame of a foodbank can be as bad as the shame of Nigerians using thier little kids to beg for monet to eat, in traffic!
It cant be as bad as Nigerians who search dustbins, looking for food or those who scavenge dumpsites looking for something to pick and sell!
It cant be as bad as the shame of those who steal Pants or cut-off heads to do money ritual.

Abeg, those Nigerians complaining are the real enemies of the masses

I'm not against sharing of food, of course I love good things. But let ask ourselves, how much tax do they pay monthly? How much do we pay monthly?

It is not a lie. You can indeed go to any food bank and get some food free of charge. Perhaps they now do home deliveries due to the lockdown but the food bank is absolutely real.

Don't mind him, I doubt he watch the video. You see a truth glaring in your eyes and he is still denying it. Very very shameful human being.
Must every things be about politics?

Helping one another is not on our culture. We and the asians . I once volunteered with an organization to appeal for food items for a food bank. I noticed only whites made donations. No blacks or Asians made any donations. Some of them who gave, you can tell are poor themselves but you see them donate even if its a small box of biscuits.

I totally disagree with this!!!!!!!!!
How large was your sample area? How were you able to identify their race?

Most of the food is unhealthy anyway, just a bunch of cheap canned foods loaded with sugar and sodium. Don't understand why Nigerians get excited over Western diets when our food is 10 times healthier.
Best to buy and eat as much organic food as possible. Although costlier than non-organic, the health benefit is better.

Nigerians for sure do not do food banks because they feel it's for poor people, and associate shame with it.

Any Nigerian patronizing a food bank would probably not want fellow Nigerians to know.

Then again, the Nigerian version of "food banks" are typically associated with social deviancy and rise in crime. This is probably due to a lack of oversight and proper guidance however .
