Growing up as kids, my family NEVER paid us for grades or accomplishments. Yet we are all highly successful at early ages. I think that rewarding for things that are expected is counter productive. All the time there will not be anyone to Pat younon the head and say good job. Who will a 7 year old call on a cell phone? I didn't get my first cellphone until I was 19 back in 2000.
