Dont mind them, so many Nigerians go the the food banks, even when there was no COVID19. Some even see poverty as a thing to be proud of. Pls I am not against visiting food banks if you really need it, but some see it as an opportunity to exploit the system as they do in Nigeria even when they can afford it.
What they fail to realise that these activities are on their consumer records and some organizations dig up this during background checks to compare with their resume and profiles they put forwsrd.[/quote

You are so Correct. When Covid-19 no Dey Ppl go to the Food Banks here and I think that must be from the Food Bank, he Must be trying to make Nigeria Look shitty. And Nothing about Food Bank is Being Dug Up on Any Background Shit bro.....

Africans no matter how rich they are , will always have the poverty mindset but it's not the case with these people we like to compare ourselves with.
They know the meaning of the word commonwealth, and that's why Nigerins will go abroad and still want to cheat the system.

While our useless government is busy distribution audio money for the less privileged people talk less of the middle class. Is this a country if I ask the Nigerian government

The less privilege, do they have access to Internet to say whether they received or not.

Govt are smartest. But God is smarter than them

Its not a competition amongst countries. Is it until many start dying of hunger before he will do something? Something done at the right time is more appreciated than at his own time.

I still don’t get why Some Nigerians try so hard to display Canada or the west in general as a problem free nation(s). Yes the government of Canada can afford to send food baskets to its citizens and residents but Africans and Nigerians are also supporting one another in their own little way. I don’t even know the purpose of this video . Is the poster ignorant of the fact that most of the poor and needy in Nigeria don’t even have an address (assuming he’s suggesting that the government Should post food items to homes of the needy). Not every solution effective in a Canada will work effectively in Nigeria .

Governments do not provide food banks. It is individual citizens who donate to them so they have food to bank usually as a consequence of government policy that impoverishes people.

If we want food banks in Nigeria too, we just have to donate to them. It comes under love your neighbours as you love yourselves.

A commendable one. I'm here trying to paint a picture of how a Nigerian food bank would look like and the image ain't really nice at all... So many things are wrong in this country. Is it possible for people to coordinate themselves in a civil way here while queuing up to collect food? A foodbank is a good idea to start up in this country.

It is not a lie. You can indeed go to any food bank and get some food free of charge. Perhaps they now do home deliveries due to the lockdown but the food bank is absolutely real.

Don’t mind Him, I live in Scarborough. That’s in the GTA, Lots of Food Banks, Clothes Banks, Value Village and so on. Citizens ( Anyone Living in Canada’s )who can Afford to Donate whatever he or she can are free to do so, I donate Clothings and whatever that is Extra In my House. Students are not Entitle to some Little stuffs especially if they are Foreign Students, say what you know. Food Banks is Free and Trust me,when I need some new or fairly used Gym Equipments or Some Chicken I go there Lol. I work Monday to Sunday and I can afford my Shits ( before anyone start talking shit haha) but they have some good and new stuff at the Places too so why waste money

Before reading your post, I already made a comment. The man's skin doesn't look fresh. Someone eating good food should have shinny supple skin but his own looks harsh and dry. That said, he probably wants us to cry and start abusing everyone here, meanwhile he won't tell us the truth, that he got the food from a food bank grin
