I've achieved so many good things in just 3years of being a nairalander. I've learnt and i'm still learning a lot here.

Here are some of my achievements here:

Fast and reliable news update :: what attracted me to nairaland was actually the stories in the literature section.

I'm the kind of person who don't read or listen to news but since nairaland have it all i decided to give it a try by going through the frontpage and clicking on any head that catches my interest. That's how gradually i began listening to news and always want to be on update.

Other things are -:

I receive good advice that really helps me from people here a lot.

I know the things happening around the world that will never appear on newspaper here on nairaland.

They are still many but lemme not bore you guys.

For those who will go to check and discover that this is a new monica
.
I changed my name which will require a new account.

It pays to be a nairalander

1, got job a through here... 2. Have been saved from been scam from a article on this forum. 3 although many people opinions in things are very extreme here I see a lot of childish post, tribalism, hatred, but I respect there view atleast they are been honest with there feeling, which I like... If you are all about political correctness and you get easily offended on people views and opinion, I think you should avoid Nairaland... We need a little bit of honesty in this world we are use to lying to ourselves and camouflaging our feelings because what we may say might get another person hurt.... But on this forum people speak there realities and there mind...

I came across Nairaland too late, that was after my undergraduate and NYSC days, it really pained me a lot. Had it been that I have come across the forum earlier, maybe before my undergraduate program commenced or at early stage of my undergraduate program, I would have got some senses that would have made me to make some tough decisions that would have better my life more most especially in the financial aspect. I have learnt so many things on Nairaland. Caught fun and still doing that, some people's testimonies and changed my orientation and views about life here.

Whenever I see some people's post that they have joined Nairaland for 11 years, I feel jealous of them, lol.
