Op please, I will greatly suggest you get in touch with the Ordinary President, Ahmed Isa of Human Right Radio Abuja. I have seen him do wonders for oppressed people in both diaspora and within Nigeria.

So many cases of Nigerians imprisoned unjustly abroad he got them out. The best part is that the whole world will hear your case and government will be forced to take action. As I see it, forget Nairaland because most of them will frustrate your life. Search for Brekete Family on Facebook or call +234 818 899 1011. With your permission, I will also try reaching them.

Please may I send you a mail? We want justice served.

Thank you.

The way some people respond makes me feel they aren't updated. There have been similar cases like this where with time, and advancement in medical sciences, sb who was jailed where the DNA claimed to say there were the culprit was WRONG!

There are tens of people getting released after years of serving jail terms for crimes they never committed in the US. There are shows on cable TVs all over the world for such.

Spot on.

And the funny thing about those case is that they also point the innocent person committee the crime. I have watched many DNA expert sacked, some having near-prison sentences too for falsification.

Another gibberish from so called agbalagba, I've never read an objective comment from you.
Your first comment about Mr bah was you judging him already that he was a rapist.
Now, you are here again saying he's a yahoo boy. Is it why were are doing this?
Whether he's a yahoo boy or not that not why he was given 3 life sentences and 78 years to serve. Just keep shut if you can't help him already. You can cast the first stone since you're a saint.

Continue bleating from all corners of your mouth, you hear?

I don't know you nor will I hate you, God forbid.

The one thing I know, understand, and that gives me joy is the fact that the op knows I am neither stupid nor crazy.

Feel free hating me and my bitter truths..you hear?

It’s all right bro, happy Sunday. Hope we can be nice to one another.

It’s clear you didn’t mean to demean Mr Bah. I guess it’s your writing style. So many innuendos . It’s quite obvious in your third post. It somewhat appears as if you are insinuating “karma” caught up with Mr.Bah.

From Mr. Bah postings, This case is about the rape of a minor, not Fraud.
Do you think the circumstantial evidence of fraud ( buying 6 cars with cash, calling many countries while in custody) played a role in his conviction?

Can you share a bit of your experience with the house?

In fact, DNA has been used to free many innocents from jail.

You mean I should show you records of tampered and falsified DNA test? Ask Mr Bah.

I completely agree with you on this

Why would he have a sad and remorseful demeanor if he claimed not to have committed the crime.

Haven't we seen lots of black folks, wrongly accused, and later exonerated after incarceration of more than 30 years.
The American judicial system is not above reproach.

Coupled with reported cases of verry racist police departments.
For whatever reason, do not ever honor a police invitation in the us without a lawyer present no matter what.

More reason you should not show pride or arrogance in front of these whites. They don't like us. Believe me I know and I have experienced this times without number. Just answer their questions if it's straightforward or just keep shut if you know they are trying to rope you in. At the boldfaced above, please delete that statement, you really think anyone will want to spend 30 years in jail when they could have avoided the incarceration in the first place by just being humble or not showing arrogance?

I agree with you but though when you look at the definition you will sort of understand why that was included in the charge.

The sentencing is way too harsh and should be challenged but here is the prob though.. can the op plead for sentencing leniency while at the same time claiming innocent of the crime?

Exactly my thoughts!, his pleas for leniency and request to be deported will come back to bite him in the butt at Appeal. I will look up the case transcript.

Sure! I can answer that.

The documents I posted DOES say that 2 sets of DNA were found. One belonged TO THE VICTIM and the other belonged TO YOU.

I am sitting here watching you rile these people up because most don’t have the capacity to understand what those documents state.

ANYONE in the US with a JD that is reading WILL NOT HELP YOU because the more you talk, the more we can tell that you are purposely being deceptive. There is no way on Gods green earth that a jury will find someone guilty when the DNA presented in court belongs to someone not related to the crime. That may happen in Nigeria but NOT HERE.

The people still believing you and asking me questions prove that they are clueless about the US Justice System. The Nigerian consulate will not help you because you lied to them. The person attending your Pretrial hearings stopped going and started ignoring you when the evidence and YOUR statements showed them you were lying.

Cc justwise

Some how, I was trying to want to join the op and other empathizers to plead with you to look into his case, but the more I read, the more disturbed I get about your responses, some of us who have not left the shores of Nigeria are not fools you should know, from your posts till this instance, you are sounding like someone who gains something to keep the op behind bars (if he is innocent), yes some of us understand civil and criminal cases, but stop sounding like there is one big issue there, even oj Simpson with all the evidences pointing at him was acquitted before found guilty by a lower court, in as much as I may not be sounding knowledgeable and the op not sounding coherent, I suggest you and all your know it all and nonsense whatever you think you are should go to hell and burn to ashes if you have nothing meaningful to help the op's case and you continue to be vindictive, why kick a man who is down

And op if you are a rapist and trying to swindle the Nigeria public, the hell that awaits you can't be measured in Celsius, if you are guilty quietly serve your sentence and make reparations, you will have a better afterlife than swindling the public and suffering for a million afterlife...

He cant raise a civil suit against the government, not until he is officially exonerated of the crime and the original perpetrator is identified and arrested.

He can however file a suit of "ineffective assistance of counsel" against his defence team .
"To prove ineffective assistance, a defendant must show (1) that their trial lawyer's performance fell below an "objective standard of reasonableness" and (2) "a reasonable probability that, but for counsel's unprofessional errors, the result of the proceeding would have been different." My heart aches when I read his sentencing. Something went wrong somewhere. It makes no sense to get such a long sentence.

I wonder oo... he's sounding so vindictive, as if he knows the guy from somewhere before... abi he don drag girlfriend with him before ni?
Why he's all over the thread, vilifying the guy upandan is beyond me. (As if e dey dia when the guy was committing the crime).

He doesn't even want to leave room for the fact that the guy could have been wrongly accused and convicted (like it happens at times all over the world...US inclusive.)

Wetin happen gangan sef??
Yoruba people would say "OLORUN ma je kaa pade Alatako oo".. Amin
(Meaning: may GOD not allow us to be unfortunate to encounter an Antagonist oo.. Amen!

My thoughts exactly, I feel this man made God knows it all individual has something to gain if the op is kept down, I have a strong feeling he has something in it, I saw him patronizing justwise in a bid to sway influence into his vindictive mindset and he is seriously leaving a trail behind him, if he feels the op is being deceptive, let him furnish us with the truths the op is hiding, we have read articles that punctured the alleles method or whatever it is in DNA analysis, he has threatened the op of exposing the identity of the victim (which I didn't even see or decode from all what the op has said except her name is daubert).

If the op is a rapist let him burn and die in a million afterlife.

In cases of rape, it is permissible to throw the child and the bath water away, But if he is not guilty, why do we watch and the dogs feast on child calling for his mother?

I couldn't sleep well last night thinking about his sentencing, no white guy will ever be at the receiving end of such a cruel and inhuman judgement no matter their demeanor at trial. Its harsh and cruel.
He is a human being afterall and Gerogia is a very racist state. See all the what happened during past election in Georgia.
Let him go after his own defence attorney first as it appears his defence was botched and if he wins, use that in the appael.

Me, i have not been to the us in the past 3 years for fear of racist cops and judicial systems biased against black defendants.

If you go back to the beginning of the other thread, he told you all that he confessed because he didn’t know better. Now he has changed the story completely and started out this reply saying he was never arrested yet ended it with him being placed under arrest.

This is getting funny because he is clowning you all. How does someone on a VISITORS VISA BUY SIX SUVs CASH and LIVE in an apartment complex? In the US, there is a procedure to making very large purchases with cash and anyone who knows that procedure will see the lie.
How does someone on a VISITORS VISA LAWFULLY BUY, REGISTER, AND INSURE A CAR?

You guys are dealing with a compulsive liar who will soon manipulate you into thinking that police were jealous of his wealth.

I am guessing you didn't stay or grow up in the suburbs of Nigeria, merely reading the op's writing, it clearly shows he lacks clear understanding and use of the English language, I read carefully not to be ferried along in the current of manipulations, if we are to pick your words sentence by sentence just as you are picking his word, we can say you are the one manipulating us, where has the op said the police were jealous of his wealth? Why lead us on in that path? Why identify yourself as a woman? To gain female sympathy or to further manipulate us that you are using a 6th sense to nail the op and the rest of the men folks don't have the 6th sense? True the op has made contradictory statements, but each statement was made to suit each situation he was, as maybe a dealer (which I strongly feel he is), he sure may have exhibited certain pompousness and Nigerian crudeness, but "if" this man is innocent, lets save him...

You said he didn't show remorse, is pleading for mercy not remorse? Which remorse do you want an "innocent man" being accused falsely to show? If he pleads for Besides why was he charged with terrorism Was it lack of remorse too? It seems not showing remorse is now a terrorist act in the US.
