Forbes' Mfonobong Nsehe has come again, lol. Read his report below,

Mike Adenuga, a Nigerian oil and telecoms tycoon, might be Africa’s new richest man.

In March this year, Forbes published its annual rankings of the world's richest people. Mike Adenuga, who debuted on the list, was ranked as the second richest Nigerian, with a net worth of $2 billion, while Nigerian Aliko Dangote was valued at $13.8 billion.

But shortly after the list was published, controversy erupted in Nigerian media circles. Several Nigerian analysts and Adenuga’s staff refuted our valuation. I was bombarded with emails and messages requesting to know the criteria we used in valuing individuals’ wealth, and our rationale for valuing Adenuga so low.

In our annual Forbes rankings of the world’s richest, we prefer to be conservative in our estimates. We would rather be too low than too high. When working on the 2011 list of the world’s richest, a Forbes reporter tried to reach Dr. Adenuga’s representatives to verify his assets, but Adenuga, a chronically reclusive tycoon, did not respond. As a result, our valuation of the man was based solely on his stake in his telecom company Globacom Holding, which at the time was worth $2 billion

Hehe. Better for people to think that he is worth less than he really is, imo.

Mike the bull the biggest in the jungle.
He is the first to get to the office and the last to leave.
OKUNRIN META, OKUNRIN TO JU OKUNRIN LO.
He closed 4 deals in 4 countries in 1 day and still had time to pop champagne with his folks in his living room.

What I love about this incredible human being is the fact that without any hesitation he continues to make the impossible to become possible in the jungle.
He understands the concept of business and constantly does it his way.
He understands Nigeria and loves it more than anything else.
He understands Nigerians.
And clearly understands the world.
He is definitely a bone crusher and a gold digger.
Keep on digging and keep on growing, the sky is no longer the limit because we moved the sky away for you.

Mike has been the richest in the entire Africa for more than 5 years.

As of last month:
Conoil = $11b
Glo = $6b
ETB, properties all over the world and other investments = $9b.
Now get a calculator and do the maths.

I guess the best way to show he "understands Nigeria" is to provide Babangida with  some of the most sophisticated and inventive ways to loot the country. At the last check his con oil is owing the Nigerian board of internal reveneus hundreds of billions of dollars while he takes billions to bank. He refeused to pay because he and his backers are powerfull enough to abuse the law.  He doesnt pay his taxes, he walks hand in hand with some of the most corrupt rulers in Nigeria making a kill from the privileges that come with that and you call that love for country?

Re: Mike Adenuga Might Be Africa’s Richest Man - Forbes by Nobody: 3:45pm On Jul 16, 2011
Total hogwash.

There is no possibility of equating Adenuga's wealth with that of the Ubiquitous Leviathan called Dangote. The only thing Adenuga has in greater quantities than Seriki is unbridled arrogance.

And he doesn't brag! Probably the only reason I like him. Dangote doesn't brag as well, but obviously more ruthless than his gentle mien.
