My case was different. Bank sent me to get court order. The attendant in the court said I should use a lawyer, lawyer said judge said they should serve the scammer notice. I was like if I know where d scammer was, I won't be here in the first place. EFCC ignored me.
The country no dey work. I just forgot about the matter and moved on.

You should have allow him to pay for all the expenses.

My concern is that you lost 10% of the money which should not have been. I had a similar issue of “wrong transfer” to someone who wasn’t cooperating to refund.
I approached the persons bank and was told the money would be placed on hold after they had confirmed that the transaction was actually made. But I needed to request a transaction recall from my own bank because they don’t deal with third party. I obliged and in 3 week the money was seated in my account.

The customer care directed me to court to get a court order to restrict the account, I went to court, got the court order(pics displayed) paid them 10% of the total money. The bank restricted his account.

Yesterday afternoon, I got a call to come over to the bank...the guy was trying to make a transfer but he couldn't which warranted him to go to the bank...
The customer care told me he has 80% of the money in his account that with my consent, they'll unfreeze it and pay me or I can wait till it's complete and take all... they were certain because it's a salary account... money must enter.

Though the guy pleaded with me to be paying 20k monthly buy omooorr I don't think I'll have such patience. The bank told him to be paying the 20k into his account till it completes.

Whilst the guy did the wrong thing, the order can easily be lifted by the guy. A good lawyer can counter that court order.

The evidence was screenshot of the payment
It was paid to the court

but court order is not easy to get expecially in lagos they will fustrate your life on top of your hard earn money

That is Nigeria for you. A burglar jumped across the fence into my compound in the dead of the night and was caught in the morning as he couldn't go out. I called the police to come pick him up. When we got to the police station, I was made to cough out #8500 to file the case.
