Nobody

Location: New York City. So many things are taken for granted here ... like getting Nigerian food stuffs.... that's never a problem since there is always a store not more that 10 minutes drive regardless of where you live. The city is expensive... overheads like rent and employee pay will no doubt be passed on to the food items .... but then there is competition and proximity of stores which keep prices under control. The price is too high or items not in good condition.... we jump and pass... on to the next store! I feel sorry for you guys out there with that one store that you have to travel soooo far to reach... and when you get there..... take what you get and pay the ransom. If you're out there ... in the wilderness ... maybe you should order foodstuffs from back home and let the person send it via NIPOST.... job creation ... business venture for someone back home. To find a trustworthy and reliable person back home would be the biggest problem.
[/quote]

For those interested in getting foodstuffs to the USA, please patronise me. I am reliable and trust worthy. I have been sending stuffs to the USA and Canada for years. If you want more Info on how reliable I am we can move to whatsapp or send an mail.
Thanks.

This is so nice of you. I love texas so much, esp those beautiful big mansions but I got a job in Ohio so I will be moving there first. I may move to texas later if God wills.

If you don't mind, you may share experience of when you were a new immigrant in the United States. Thanks.

I've never gone to Ohio before, but I think it's cool too, just that it can be very cold during winter. I don't think I'm prepared for such weather . Lol

As for when I was new, I actually settled down pretty fast because of the family I stayed with. They really helped me settled in real quick. Only 2 out of 10 immigrants enjoy such privilege

For starters, what's the minimum wage in Texas. And how cheap is rent
Re: Living In The USA - Life Of An Immigrant Part 1 by Seunblack7070: 2:39am On Jan 22, 2023
Minimum wage in Texas is actually $7.25,and the rent is kind of ok compared to other states. It can range from $700 for a room(old apartment) to like $1500 in a highbrow area. The only issue with Texas is transportation . No public transportation , which makes it hard for new immigrants to move around. The most available form of transportation is Uber and lyft.

$7.25 that's too low. I thought most States minimum wages start from $15
