Probably that's what you are exposed to on tiktok. It's a good source of smart information and training if you have your search criteria right

The US & UK should have banned it earlier, Tiktok is now too widespread to curtail, once the US govt decides to ban tiktok they re going to be hit by massive lawsuits and Protests some of which would be backed by Beijing to cause civil unrest like the assumed US backed Hong-Kong protests, Republican far right groups like the KKK, Antifha and even Pro LGBT and feminists are going to come all out

Now they know that there's a security breach in Tik-Tok but they'll never tell you that Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Twitter can also be used to get vital information about the user. The only reason why US of A is clamping down on tiktok is because tiktok has grown immensely popular and is threatening Youtube and other US companies. Tiktok algorithm shows you videos based on the type of videos you watch. Mine, for example, shows me more of content relating to wildlife, family guy tv show and rick & morty tv show because those are the content i usually like on the app.
