The world is gone that is why I protect my mind, I don't watch movies becasue they have agenda in every clip, I don't listen to music from 2017 and up becasue it's full of brain washing ... If not for madness ... How is it possible that a Nicki Minaj wannabe was crowned woman of the year ... A known thief who openly confessed to robbing men. How If not for madness ? ... I don’t follow anyone that twerks, but somehow TikTok brings those videos to me. So I doubt the algorithm thing works right on TikTok. Nudity is very well allowed there, though there is how they mask it. How else do you explain a trend where girls dance in skimpy gowns and without music, just so you hear their ass clap?

Yes, I know about the ass clapping one but that's not really nudity, is it? skimpy gowns isn't very ok for us based on our morality but it's fine is some other clime.

I am very sure I have never gone out of my way to search for those videos but I see them every other time. So something is definitely not right with the algorithm. I have not had this problem on IG, but TikTok? Nah!

You know the issue us reps have been raising is that tik tok allegedly spies on its users.

And almost every thing out of China is ultimately owned by the Chinese government

I think this is it. Na IG dey do that one pass and it makes me very paranoid. Can’t someone have some privacy again. I just went to check my preferences and saw I had none. So I updated keywords I do not want. Let’s see how that goes.

I downloaded,deleted few hours later.
I downloaded it again, deleted it few minutes later.

You’re wrong. US House committee invited TikTok boss for a hearing. He was asked whether TikTok America shares data with any Chinese agencies. He tried as much as possible to dodge the question. After much back and forth by the House committee with him, he caved in and admitted that TikTok in the US share users information with China TikTok. This was a red flag as Chinese companies are mandated by Chinese communists party to share users information with Chinese government on requests.

Nigeria is deficient in critical thinkers is all I can say from reading a lot of comments on this thread. A search on Google will show one that foreign apps/ websites such as Google, FB, IG, Twitter, Snapchat, Youtube, WhatsApp,Bloomberg, CNN, Wallstreet Journal...are banned in China. When YT was kicked out of China, Youku (the Chinese equivalent of YT) was born. Google's banning gave birth to Baidu. Weibo, Wechat, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, QQ ...are products gleaned from FB, Yahoo Messsenger...These companies / apps have all gone on to be worth several billion of dollars- a good thing for the Chinese economy. Need I say Uber birthed China's cab hailing Didi? Now let me shock you. Do you know government officials in China are forbidden from owning and using iPhones and Samsung phones? . They (govt workers) may own such devices but they CANNOT be seen with them at work because of 'perceived' securityconcerns. Huawei and other local brands are recommended. Do you also know that Tesla cars CANNOT be driven into some sensitive government buildings in China because of 'perceived' security concerns? So, whatever decisions the US government takes regarding Tiktok is in the best interest of the country. Lastly, are you aware that the Tiktok outside of China is totally different from the one in China?
