Relocating To Jamaica With Limited Funds. by Deerahone: 12:53pm On Feb 20, 2023
Hello Fam,

I am a media professional with expertise in cinematography, sound engineering, film editing, 3D modeling with proficieny in Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe after effects and video copilot's element 3D plug in.

With the above skill, can I migrate to Jamaica to establish my media industry with the sum of ₦1.5 m (air fare inclusive)?

I have done some research and found out that Jamaica economy is not that beautiful but its better than that of Nigeria at the moment. Moreover, the intention is to possibly get Jamaican citizenship in order to easily have access to anywhere in the world.

Experienced people, Your advice is needed urgently. I want to leave before this Easter. Can ₦1.5m take me to Jamaica?

Things are too costly over there. I never go there before but I heard from a reliable source. Try googling cost of stuffs over there b4 making a move. Things like accommodation, transport fare, food e.t.c

1.5m for another blackman land, no no no! Airfare alone is up to 800k remaining 700k let just call it 1k dollars balance what can it do...absolutely nothing. Huzlle more or japa to another country like Mauritius is even more advanced 3times more than Jamaica.

Keep your research deep and try to hear from those who have been or living in the country, don't listen those who haven't been to the airport.
You can research on the YouTube too.

Information is what you need.

Since this thread did not progress, for the benefit of those who read and pass, i have researched enough and found out that the ₦1.5m I have cannot take me far. I contacted a naija girl that relocated to Jamaica late 2022,she said that she spent 1.4million naira on flight ticket alone.

So in conclusion, I have shelved the idea and I'm back to more hustling to raise more money, at least 3million naira to restart the japa move.

Thanks everyone
