@me Last time l visited a dentist office was about 10years ago. But l use drugs. I go to the pharmacy every year. And l visit hospital regularly when sick and for checkup



P.S time of new disease outbreak,eg Ebola, Sars, Corona, Big Pharm involved in research and new drugs cure cash out back to back.
Na some of these big pharms sef dey mix new disease new epudemic for their china Lablratories. Big pharm involved jn R& D are some of the stupendously richest. Thats why dem invent new disease at times shake up the world

pharmacy is just a pass id job compare a doctore Enterprise, a lab scietist Enterprise and a pharmacist Enterprise..

That still doesn't mean Dentists make more money than Pharmacists in Nigeria! Except you'll have me believe that all dentists' and pharmacists' employment in Nigeria is done in government hospitals!

Matter of fact, how many of our dentists, pharmacists, and even doctors do government hospitals and establishments absorb??! barely 30%!

We are talking private practice here...! In that aspect, where pay comes through visitations and consultations, who is more in demand and who sees more money annually??!

I personally believe dentistry pays more due to the fact that they are very few when compared to pharmacists, A good set of braces cost well over 300k, even a simple extraction is costly af
Pharmacy pays extremely well, but is dearly overpopulated sector-wise
As a career option, I’ll advise you to go for Dentistry

Porcelain crown per tooth ranges from 1k$ to 1.5k$.

Honestly, I have never consulted a dentist in my life...!

I almost visited one a decade ago when I had a serious unexplained toothache that was a nightmare... However, Longrich toothpaste came to the rescue, and till today it has never resurfaced!

I might eventually visit one before I depart this world sha!

Doesn't mean people don't visit them daily. Directly or indirectly. Some visit doctors who refer them to dentists.

I would go with Pharmacy . Nigerians don't patronize dentists until a dental emergency. Pharmarcy is very lucrative as you will make a lot of money opening your own business.

Dental officers earn more in Federal Government hospitals when compared to pharmacists.

Pharmacists, radiographers, medical laboratory scientist and physiotherapist earn the same pay in federal hospitals.

Dental officers are doctors so they earn the same with their colleagues on the same grade

Both are lucrative, you can't categorically say one is more lucrative, it depends on what you make of it.

But Dentists generally have better package from the government from the start, which makes them both complacent and delusional.

Pharmacists on the other hand are forced to look for side hustle to augment their salaries, so they go into business, some of them lease their licenses too

Bros stop thinking in terms of salary. Less than 1% are rich through salary. Rich people think in terms of revenue and profit. You can never compare Pharmacy and dentistry in terms of profitability. Pharmacy is scalable and any business that will make you rich must be scalable. Salary is born out of a poor mindset. It is difficult to scale dentistry.

in private practise a dentist even earn more, orthodontic braces, implant procedures, cosmetic dentistry and surgical care can well run into multimillion in a month to even burst your brain; one patient can pay up to millions in naira, if given any of these specialized care. People are poorly oriented about dentistry in Nigeria, even at that, the poor will seek treatment to alleviate pain, the rich will pay the price to look good and people with maxillofacial injuries will definitely pay to get well ....all these porcelain veneers, gold crowns and diamonds these artist rock cost alot. In government job dentist who are also doctors earn way higher

Maybe u dont know what u are saying. Dentists go through the same procedures until 600 level. Even they face more harder courses at 600 level cos of their exposure to oral surgery. How then can u compare them with dental technologists. Pls don't bring nonsense here
