Hellooooooo is any1 here? Pls which is the most safest baby milk for a 4months old baby. I bought 123milk but some says its not good for him......i will be glad with the fastest response. Thanks
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by dominique(f): 5:56pm On Aug 17, 2012
peak 123 is not ideal for a 4 month old. you can introduce it to him when hes 9 months or older. till then, you can give him SMA gold, nan or frisogold milk. the age range is always indicated on the container. btw, how is the prickly heat? have you gotten the powder?

still be giving him formula. Leave peak123 for when he is 1yrs, 2yrs, 3yrs. There are so many in the market. NAN, SMA Gold or progress, Similac, Frisogold, aptamil, etc. I prefered Similac because it was affordable and it agreed well with his system unlike sma.

We use Agnesia powder for the rashes and it disappear but continuos use will help prevent occurence.
My lil one will be 4mths in 2weeks, and we started him on SMA gold about a month ago and he's combining it with breast milk. Think the 900grams cost abt 4k but be careful where you buy it from. Make sure it's at a standard supermarket o, abeg!

Hi all, when is the ideal time to potty train ur baby?
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by dominique(f): 9:23am On Aug 24, 2012
^^^ nothing stopping you from starting as early as 7 months as long as she can sit without support and you know the time she poops. its advisable to use the chair-like potty. it would be challenging at first once she gets accustomed to it, the rest is easy breezy.

I need help o.

How do i get this my chairman to accept the potty?
He is 18months and has absolutely refused the potty.
Immediately he sees us coming with the potty he will runaway and start screaming.
In fact, he tries to hide the fact that he has pooed and doesnt even want to be changed.
I don tire.

Hi ladies. I have a daughter who is 2 and half. I don't know if that qualifies me as having a baby. lol. anyway, i just wanted to share what i think about the potty training issue. i started trying to potty train my daughter at one, and nothing worked and then suddenly at 18months, she just started using the big toilet by herself, so she ended up not using the potty at all. So I guess children differ in that regard. bottom line is, your child will be potty trained when he/she is good and ready and not before, willful as they are these days.

@agiboma: good going on the pregnancy thread. i am hoping i'll join you guys soon. trying for the second, and keeping my fingers crossed.

@blank, dominique,
my daughter also exhibited that xter. she would have finished wetting her panties and then come to me to tell me she wants to wee. I just kept on encouraging her and when i put her to the potty, i sit with her right there. attimes those LOs don't want to be alone.
with time they'll be perfect.

Try mashed irish potatoes with titus, or very soft semovita with ewedu, the ewedu is preferably blended, with crawfish in it or overcooked noodles without the spices... To be continued

Try amala or Eko (agidi) with ewedu and blended fish. Also marshed potato or overcooked rice

Hi all, pls, what's the best follow-up formula for a six month old
Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by maran1983(f): 7:05pm On Sep 28, 2012
@Dudugirl, SMA progress is a good follow up milk. That's what I used for my son till he got to a year and I started him on peak 123.
@Ayobarmy, kids are different. I started my son on Birds custard from 6 months,he didn't stool or vomit though I made it watery.

PrettyCindy: @op, the vaccine that causes that rise in temperature is DPT vaccine. Its given in 3 doses at a month or so interval each with HBV. To prevent or minimize such rise is temperature, 3 or 4 days to the date of next hopital visit for immunization, start giving him paracetamol syrup drops (check leaflet for dosage).

By the way, whoever gave the name “crawling“ to babies learning movement should please think again. My son “crawls“ so fast that i began to wonder if the word ‘crawling‘ had another meaning to it.
Am a single mum to my baby and i am so loving being a mother. I give God glory that i didn‘t bow to pressure to abort him.
feel u on that one siter! I'm a single mom to an almost six month old princess, and I don't even remember what life was without her, I love her with my life

I have. I found out it only happened when I don't burp my baby before putting him down. I remember the first time it happened. I had just breastfed him in the night, he was about 3 weeks old. I put him down to do up my bra before burping him and it came out of his mouth, nose and ears. I thought he was dying. It was my mum that explained what happened.

Not that I was a bad mom but it happened 3 or 4 more times b4 it registered in my subconscious that I had 2 burp first and put him down later.
