we had 'corruption' and things were better. Prices were lower and standard of leaving was good.

Now we don't have 'corruption', life becomes extremely difficult. Where are the monies saved because of the corruption fight? Why fight 'corruption' when it only brings more hardship?

I hope this doesn't degenerate into something really ugly at the end of the day. The tension is palpable, people are tired of this administration and want to register their displeasure. I'm afraid any attempt to sabotage the plan or thwart the process will not go down well Nigerians. The cops should instead be on standby to forestall any break down of law and order, anything contrary may spell doom.
if people are tired of this administration, we should show the displeasure thru vote in 2019, by then we wil know,if people want continuation of corruption of the past or not.

Many will die avoidably from 2face partisan protest and he may end up in jail for instigating crisis. If the protest wasn't a PDP backed one people wouldn't mind but as long as it is partisan APC supporters will likely confront them leading to deaths and arson.

Will people die if it was an I stand with Buhari rally?

People have a right to register their displeasure against any underperforming government and the authorities should not interfere. peaceful protest for a cause is legal worldwide, the cops duty is to protect the protesters as well as maintain law and order. but obviously the Nigerian Police are clueless. I hope you're not one of the APC stogies, else you wouldn't be supporting this tyrannical government.

I find it quite shameful that you had to drag IPOB into this. I mean, aren't they the people who have decided to stay out of this protest as this isn't what they're clamouring for. Like you haven't seen calls here and offline for those down east to stay out of the protest!

Some of you APC supporters can be so impossible!

Whatever to give a group a bad name! Continue!!!!
for your information, unless you are live in denial and have questionable values, anybody that hates truth and supports or promotes lies, turns logic on its head and wish this APC government bad and Nigeria disintegrated to cover up corrupt politicians, and by extension anybody still being madly pained by the defeat of Buffoon in 2015 is an ipob. It could be a Fayose, a Kuje Dilector or Dasuki but definitely not an Ngenekwenu, a Tinubu or an Okorocha the word has assumed a new life and meaning. So are you an ipob? abi no be wetin we see during Trump's inauguration and useless post promoting terrorism and wishing Buhari dead on the social media? abegi !

why would 2Baba announce a protest and not write a formal letter to the police?
It makes it an illegal gathering, and the police are at liberty to waste lives on that day.
let him just write the damn letter to fulfill all righteousness to avoid #storiesthattouch

What is Tinubu and Ambode afraid of?
The police should provide security and protection for the protesters, which is their job.
We, the youths are tired of being called leaders of tomorrow forever by those who deprive us of jobs and an enabling environment to be successful entrepreneurs.
We say- #EnoughisEnough.

Dumb decision. Even if they dont apply, the buzz about it should be enough for you and instead of stopping a march/protest, why not just put men on standby and ensure that it is safe…

People are just silly around here

The police has given a clear warning, if you come out for any yeye protest, you will be shot with Ak-47, survivors will be re-shot with AK-49. PERIOD. Use your energy for something productive. If you have excess energy, go and confront Boko Haram, our soldiers are already worn out.

We all know Mr Owoseni is taking orders from his ogas at the top. It's a shame that APC has turned nigeria to their personal property. This is nothing but a military regime. May God punish all Nigerian politicians

A very useless Police Force. Have you people been ready for anything ? Apart from may be, bribe ? Look at the nonsense statement that they are not ready for that kind of protest. Have you guys been ever ready in your lives ? I do not know why the Police have become partners with the Presidency. This can only happen in a country where the Fuckcing Federal Government control all police apparatus.

We need State Police and we need it now, so each State can begin to take their security in their hands. And that is one of the points of this PROTEST which MUST hold.

Nigeria Police bring out your arms against the citizens and watch how stones will be more lethal than guns. This is not about political parties or tribes or religion. We just want to talk, we just wanna discuss how we can better structure the country and survive as a people and learn to love each other based on agreed terms not excluding asking everyone who owns oil well in this country to account to the masses all that they have been making from those oil wells. Because it is supposed to belong to the masses.

Nigerians stop being silly, the oil belongs to everyone yet few politicians own oil wells and the remaining one is sold and money shared among themselves while we struggle on our own. Yet they still crumble the economy.

That is the statement I am making. Enough is fuccking Enough.

Can someone Start A Petition at Change.org to stop these people from using police and army to oppress us?

Go and kill them now, mschew. See him hammering on die and deaths like people have not given their lives for causes they believe in all through history.

What has this got to do with APC or PDP, Nigerians deserve good governance and are entitled to demand for it.

No proper healthcare, people dying like chickens in LUTH and many other hospitals across the country but the president is receiving good treatment overseas.
