You missed the meaning of worship and praise due to your former religion.
Worship simply means doing things according to the instructions given by someone and praise means telling others about the goodness in following the wise counsel of the one you worship. From the viewpoint of Pharisees all the people Jesus is sitting, eating, drinking and sharing his happy moments with are sinners:

The people Jesus rebuked aren't the sinners he came to call rather it's the Pharisees like you claiming they're righteous:

As for the sinners he spoke peacefully wit them telling them they will be blessed if they're willing to act on his message:

Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. Mark 1:17

Are you going to preach to people who are already interested in some church program?
If so then you're not preaching but snatching members of other churches.
But if you're to preach then you must be ready to speak peacefully with people who feels what your religion says is stupid.
