opsy4real1: @collinsfbi, i been making arrangements to get a medical appointment at a south african hospital wit da help of a friend in S.A. He was askd to come back on Tuesday for the medical appointment confamation against 3rd wk of Novemba. Once i'm able to get dat, do u confirm i'l be able to submit my visa application at anytime and day i wish to? Cos am confused at the advice u gave this man to aply thru medical and u said even at that he cant submit soon than he thinks. Has d procedure changed again for d case of medical visa application?cos i wana apply immediately i get the appointment confamation.

Am sure you don't understand my post, I gave him two options of using her aunty's acct statement for medical reasons or fund his personal acct even if he manages to get his personal acct funded, he won't be able to go for earlier submission unless using something as a cogent reason and that is the only option recognized and accepted by South African Embassy is by giving medical reasons to support your application aside applications made under corporate entity. In this case no medical examination required, no interview, no implications for using such but try and arrange all your supporting documents coherently.

I think you are getting it all wrong, I never ask your aunty to use her own company letter head, I was only referring to her place of work letter head paper and thank God she works at a General Hospital, using her place of work letter head paper makes it look official but that does not mean she cannot use an ordinary paper. Getting early appointment now is where the problem lies and the only way by which you can submit your application now is through medical category. Get a letter from your medical doctor and get an appointment confirmation from SA either online or through email and go for submission. Am sure you don't expect me to start telling you the type of ailment you are to claim. Think of one and get a coherent supporting documents and go for your submission, nobody will interview you, only your submitted docs will speak for you.

Thanks wonderfully for your time sir. Please, kindly be aware that, I'm not here to disturb you but to gain more knowledge before I submit my application.

Now, If this South Africa issue will be risky or doesn't work (I dont mean it but thinking if it is)....., which Country in Europe can you suggest or will be easier to process with my Aunty's account. She's ready to give me #700k to travel and this is why I wish to take it before she start using it for her bizness. Please help me sir!!! Thanks a million... Bless You!!!

What is your purpose of traveling and why do you think you can't be granted visa? There is no shortcut anywhere, if you meet the requirements for any country I see no reason why you shouldn't get your visa but I am still not sure why you want to waste 700k all because you have someone who will give such to you. I see no reason for you to travel if you don't have a genuine purpose for traveling. I hope you understand why I gave this reply? Your post above shows that you have no clear purpose or destination and I hope you won't mind if you can explain why you just want to go anywhere.

Oh good....thanks for your time and prompt reply. Please get me right sir.... I purposely want to travel in order to study and this is why the medical option you gave for S. A seems confusing (I hope you understand this sir). My aunty said, she want me to travel Abroad and study... I made mistake for not telling you all this before now.

So, I'd wanted to process UK as a student visiting visa (London Film School for 2months filmmaking course) but I will need to come back home after the course and later process it over again. I write so I wish to come back really and produce a film of my own.

Even if I shoot my own film, I still wish to travel Abroad and study because this is what my Aunty needs. Please understand me boss!

Sometimes your reply really make me laugh with how you express yourself and how you coin your words. It shows that you only read my comment without any understanding sorry to say. The medical option I gave you is for you to get your application submitted at South African Embassy anytime you want it, without it you may not be able to get early submission till around December or January as appointments for submission must have been booked to cover November and probably December. Medical option will only help you to get early submission and it won't affect your visa and there won't be any medical indication on your visa.

Besides, when you are already planning to study in the UK, why going to SA to waste money? I will advise to go and process your UK visiting visa and forget abt SA. If at this point you still don't understand me then I have nothing to tell you.

Don't be deceived by anybody, you can't get any work permit but I can't dispute your chances of getting one not until you get to SA and sort yourself out.

There is not point of including your daughter's birth certificate, besides are you refering to your wife or GF since you mentioned "my daughter"?

why did you put my name as the poster of your query? Well if that is all you want to ask I think you don't have much problem, just a tourist visa with a few months extension will do that.

@Collins (I wonder how you know so much about South African - very nice). Anyways I want to do an MBA program with GSB Cape Town but I am held back because of this "Nigerian Factor" - You know the negative things, Crime Rate and also the No Jobs in S.A. I want you to be truthful to me, what are the possibilities of me having a job in South Africa after the program. I currently have an ACCA Qualification. Be honest with me. I pray you reply on time so that I can kick start (initiate) the process. The school has been sending me numerous emails and SMS. Many thanks

Like Julius Malema would say ....'its is obvious!!" Collins lives in South Africa which is why he can give you adequate information.

Liek he has been preaching to ya'll on this thread. SA's youth unemployment rate is high and this is including several skilled and semi skilled Black South Africans not even adding the large number of immigrants that troop into the country form neighbouring areas which is putting pressure on the already unstalbe economic system.

If you can hustle pretty well then you will survive in SA( and I am not talking about bad business). If you are hoping to wait on line for employment well statistically speaking your chances are slim. Nonetheless I never discourage anyone from trying.

AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

I am sorry for replying late but to be sincere with you, there is high rate of unemployment in SA and it's a great disadvantage for foreigners seeking employment opportunities in SA except for some science professionals such as medical doctors/nurses etc. I don't want to discourage you but if you are so much interested in coming to SA, you can try GIBS business school of University of Pretoria if you are afraid of going to Cape Town. There is possibility of getting a job even while schooling but UNIP is very expensive (95% white) and there are various elements of racism, aside these, I can assure you that you will enjoy UNIP. On the other hand, if your major motif is coming to get a job, pls stay back because the story maybe the other way round.
